great deal
I've used this load binder to hold a tractor, disc and box blade in place. It is strong and it was such a great value that I went back and bought a second one.

Load Binder
Binder holds my 5800 lb tractor firmly to my trailer. No problems here. Can't afford to lose my load between jobs plowing gardens and bush hogging. Needed a good strong binder at low cost. This binder does the job perfectly.

Northern Industrial Load Binder - 5400-Lb. Cap.
This ratchet binder is a well constructed, heavy made item. The handle is ideal length to pull full tension and operation is smooth.

Slower but More Versitile
The great thing about this binder is that you don't have to keep changing where its hooked on the chain like you do with the lever type. Also easier to tighten without having to put out a lot of force. Of couse, its not as fast as a lever type, but it is also safer because it won't flip loose. Just keep it greased.

Much easier to adjust...
I use these for transporting farm equipment. As with any binder after the load is secured, you need to stop occasionally and tighten any slack that may be in the chains.
With these ratcheting binders I am able to get the load tighter the 1st time and rarely have any slack that needs to be taken out of the chains when I check. Also if I do need to take slack out of the chains, it is much easier and faster with these ratcheting binders.
Keep them lubricated and they will not twist chains and the ratchet will continue to work flawlessly.
