"This winch is a great back saver! We used it for a 2 ton dead pull with no problems. Only problem we had was with the cable kinking up, which then needed to be cut and recrimped."

"I used the winch in an unconventional way. I needed to pull some heavy docks up onto the shore across about 100' of rocky beach. I mounted the winch to a hunk of 4x4, lashed the 4x4 to a big pine tree, and plugged it in to an outside outlet using a 100' heavy duty lead. My daughter worked the remote button while two of use "helped" the dock sections along with crude rollers and a pry. We observed the 2 minute limitation on continuous use,so the job took some time, but it worked! I did find some cable pinch on rewind, but I think that was because of the unstable monting I was using. Good product, and worth the $ even if I only use it once a year."
