Works Great
I used this thermostat to control 2 ceramic heat emitters in a dog house. Hard wire hook up takes less than 5 minutes and so far this thermostat has been functioning very reliably. The unit turns off promptly at the set position, and it doesn't cycle back on until the temperature drops approx 4-5 degrees (so plan accordingly if you are trying to prevent freezing temps). It's a great unit that can be mounted just about anywhere since it's moisture resistant and it is useful for just about any application that a thermostat is needed as a switch.

nice product
This is a very nice thermostat. This is the only one I could find that went down to 30 deg. I am using it for heat tape and now I don't have to worry about pluging them in before it gits too cold.

freeze prevention
a decent priced t-stat for freeze prevention, I used it in the shallow well pump house to keep pump and filters from freezing. This thermostat was exactly what I was looking for to turn on and off heat lamp when it is needed. I wired it in front of a receptacle specifically used for heat lamp and that leaves an option of using it for any heater in the future.

Greenhouse Thermostat
I have just mounted this thermostat in a green house for controlling a venting fan and heater. The unit appears well made and is easy to install. Initial performance is as expected.

works as advertised
This Thermostat is larger than it looks. It is not the same size as a standard single gang box. Double check the dimensions if size is critical.
You can hard wire just about anything 120volt to this. In my situation it controls an outlet that a heater is then plugged in to. I dialed it down below the 30 degree mark and it accurately switch on about 28 degrees.

Warm dog house
Very easy to install. Very dependable. I watched it for weeks to make sure it was cycling like it should. I have had it installed in my dog house for two years now. On a cold winter morning he will stick his nose out of the house just to see who is there. If there is no need for him to leave his house he will curl up and enjoy the warm heat from his heat lamp. He never spent so much time in there before.

Fan Thermostat
I am using this adjustable thermostatic switch to operate a hot air blower. Cirulating hot air from a wood stove, to other rooms in the house. It works great ,because if the stove cools down the blower shuts off , avoiding cold air ciculation (and wasting electricity).
The switch is good quality and of heavy construction. Comes with good clear instructions on how to wire.
