Excellent Single Dog Fence,

"Our very energetic Labrador/Poodle mix had to be kept on a run until we installed this invisible fence. Equipment installation was straightforward. The pet training process was effective and took only about two weeks. The dog easily mastered the property boundary location and has obeyed reliably since. In fact, she associates putting on the receiver colar with having free run of the property (a nice change from being tied to a run) and so, when we get the receiver out, she becomes very excited to "go outside". Excellent product: makes the dog and her owners very happy."

How deep must the wire be buried?

Details:

we live in a very wet, rocky terrain. will this product work for us?

Answers

We recommend that you bury the wire 1 - 3 inches underground to give it protection from possible damage caused by small rodents or surface traffic. It is not vital to the operation of the system that the wire be buried, but it is highly recommended. You can also bury the wire deeper, (up to 6-8 inches) if you are concerned about damage caused by aeration, etc. The wire can be attached to an existing fence, hedges or other items if it is not going to get damaged. In wooded areas you can even run the wire through PVC or rubber garden hose.
