Apache Water Pump PVC Discharge Hose - 1in. X 25 Feet
Hose was cut when it arrived!
I bought this hose to go along with a submersible pump. When I unrolled it, it looked fine but as soon as I attached it to the pump to drain the water from my pool cover, a 2 inch slice in the hose showed up with water spewing from the cut. It wasn't cut by me or by UPS. It isn't a tear but a cut with a knife. I ordered 4 different items on this order and this is the second of those 4 items to have problems. This may be my last order from Northern and I am a long time customer as I still own on of the original Northern Hydraulics log splitters from back in the 80's. This order has left this camper very unhappy!

Worth the money
I was surprised how fast and easy this worked with the submersible pump I ordered. The large diameter helped to move a lot of water quickly but the hose has to have gentle bends in order to move water efficiently. Packs compact and rolls out quickly. The only thing I would change is I would make it longer or buy a second one.

the quality of the hose is fine, but it can not make a bend. i am pumping out my basement and the hose lacks enough rigidity to make the bend out of my bulkhead stairs. also, the pump that this hose was recommended for has a top attachment, making any kind of turn impossible.

Apache Water pump PVC discharge hose
I use a gang valve set-up so I can use multiple sprinklers. This hose has enough
pressure so that I can use 4 hoses and sprinkler heads at the same time. Plenty pressure for good rotation and sprinkle distance. A very good purchase
item. Highly recommended.

I maintain baseball infields and I really need at least a 1" hose in order to deliver enough volume in a reasonable amount of time. Other 1" hoses made of rubber or clear tubing run $100-200. A hose cart with an adequate inlet (1") can cost $350 - 1,000 so I thought I'd give this type hose a try. It was able to handle the line pressure (90 - 150 psi) and is much lighter to handle and store but ultimately decided that coaches and volunteers would be making a tangled mess if asked to handle, drain and store this type of hose every day.
I now use it when I need an extra 25 ft of hose for washing down dugouts, bleachers and sidewalks and like the fact that I can roll it up and store it in a very small space. Although it didn't work out as initially intended, I still find it a good value and and very useful. If it came in 50 ft length it would be even better.
