"I used this pump to remove thousand of gallons of water under several homes that had seasonal springs that were not realized until too late. We were able to remove nearly all of the water and unplug the low point drains as needed. Great Tool!"

"This is one rugged little pump. I used it to pump out the last 3 feet of water in a 1/4 acre pond by sitting it on an inverted milk crate to keep it slightly off the bottom. It took awhile but it got the job done. It handled most leaves and small solids and did not clog until we started sucking in some serious muck at the bottom. When it did start to clog, we turned if otf and water flowed backwards thru the suction and cleared the muck,, so we could start it back up again. The unit appears to be extremely well built, and has a 20 foot cord, but does not come with a start stop switch. You can either make one up for the cord (be sure it is reasonably water proof and can handle the amperage), or use the float switch bought separately. I used a short 3' extender cord that had a built in water proof toggle switch (circuit breaker). The pump comes with real instructions that even show how to do simple maintenance on it. (Seals, when the time comes, should be replaced by a service mechanic). I made up a schedule 40 PVC threaded 45 deg. street el for the discharge, which enables you to direct the hose in any direction by rotating the street el. Useful in preventing kinks in a flexible discharge hose. This is the best sump/trash pump I have seen or used."

"I was reluctant to buy this pump until I read the reviews.I just tried mine by pumping out a 5000 gallon tank of rain water. The only problem I had was the threads for the discharge fitting where hit during shipping.I was able to clean them up with a thread file.It even comes with real operation manual that has maintenance schedule.I liked it so much I ordered 3 more."

"I bought this pump based on it's promise of 39 foot head. I needed a pump that I could drop into a stream and pump up 25 feet and then a run of about 600 feet to fill a gold fish pond. The pump worked great. Even at that height and length, I estimate that I was getting about 1000 gallons an hour. I'm well satisfied with the product."

"I had an issue with my yard flooding during the heavy southern rains of March 09 -- to the tune of 18" at it's deepest, covering approximately 1/2 acre. I ordered my tsunami pump and have been very pleased with it's operation and performance. I had so much water that it took a while; but, that's not a reflection on the pump! I would buy this pump again and again, though I might opt for a larger version for the size job I tackled!!

"We have an acqifer that runs through our property that has been damned up by the townhouse community south of us. During high water periods, the water surfaces in a detention pond between the two properties. I use this pump to relieve undergorund hydrostatic pressure by basically emptying out this small pond. When I do, the sump pumps in several nearby homes stop cycling. This pump handles large volumes of water at a good pace (c. 2500gph at 5' head). It seems indestructible if you care for it properly. I have to agree w/all the positive reviews of this item."

"Picked this pump up to reclaim an in ground pool from years of neglect. It performed the job admirably, requiring only an occasional cycling of power to remove the buildup of leaves around the intake. It never clogged internally and this pool was full of everything. The only issue I have is that the carry handle has somewhat degraded, which makes a black mess of your gloves when you pick up the wet pump."

"For years I have messed around with water pumps using garden hose and waiting hours to pump out the lower section my driveway which continually gets flooded during heavy rains. This pump pumps the area out in about 10 minutes. Well worth the money."
