"We use this product in a workshop. The reel seems very well built. Heavy duty. The hose is plenty long enough to reach across the shop to do all we need it for. I did have to add a little spring tension to it to get it to return a little better but that was no issue. I would highly reccomend this product to someone else! Also I have the reel mounted with the swivel base which makes it even better!"

"When I first received it I was skeptical of the quality/cost factor. I installed it near the bay door, so I could use it across the whole shop. It took me a little while to figure out the hose lock mechanism, but I figured out if you pull out the length you need, then pull a little further until you hear one click, it would lock right in place.

The only down side for me is the quality of the hose. It's strong enough, but the dye comes off it on to your hands or anything you rub it across. I would like to remove that hose and install a better quality unit on it, but the reel seems a good quality overall, especially when you look at the more expensive units going for twice and three times the price. All in all I would buy another one, mostly due to the fact that as a hobbyist I can't justify spending several hundred dollars on a air hose reel."

"Every reel that I have hanging from my ceiling fits on a joist. I didn't feel this to be sturdy enough when only using 2 holes in my wood rafters. AFTER I mounted this on its own board I moved it to three different locations in my garage. Its final resting place is where I intended, from the ceiling.

The reel works horizontal or vertical without changing anything. I use it at least 4 times a week and found the tension a little week. It does reel back in with a little help. I would buy this again. I would even pay more if it came with a better mounting option and stronger tension. I gave it 5 stars for getting the job done at half the price of the competitors."

"It even came with 50ft of new hose. Now my old hoses are just hanging out as extra extensions if needed. I really am happy with this product. My only complaint is that two of the mounting holes required and open end wrench for installation. This was a small issue because I lagged them to wood and it took a little longer to bolt up than my air ratchet would have. Now mounted, It works great!"

"THESE HAVE HADE MY HOME WORK SHOP SO MUCH MORE ORGANIZED I CAN'T BELEIVE I DID NOT DO IT 30 YEARS AGO. I HAVE 2 HANGING FRON THE CEILING AND IT IS LIKE I NEVER AM MORE THAN 10 FEET FROM AN AIR HOSE FOR MY IMPACT OR AIR FILE OR AIR GRINDER. SO NICE, MOVED THE AIR COMPRESSOR TO THE WOOD SHED SO I NEVER HEAR IT RUN BUT BAM THERE IS AN AIR HOSE RIGHT THERE."
