"The Solo Backpack Blower — 53 CC, 235 MPH, 705 CFM, Model# 471-KAT Is a very powerful blower in the Backpack power series Most all the blowers that I have used are good for low maintenance areas around the home, but the Solo Backpack Blower Model# 471-KAT has enough power to put it into a professional class. I have used many different blowers and find that they do a good job to a certain point. That's where the Solo Backpack Blower moves ahead in power. It has the power to blow large piles of leaves farther, Clean grassy areas of garbage and blow waste and debre over curbs. This is my choice for a blower that can meet the high demands of professional use."

"blower works great...but both hoses going into the fuel tank cracked. I ordered parts directly from Solo. --ordered received. A month and a half later still no parts. I emailed Solo. I was informed parts were backordered. Solo never contacted me regarding backorder and I still have not received parts--3 months later."

Solo backpack blower,

"This product is an easy to start blower. Usually one pull and it is running. It is also economical to run. I have acres of mature trees and sometimes spend hours cleaning up in the fall without refueling. It also has enough power to move 4 foot high piles of leaves. It saves my back. The only problem I have had is finding an extension that fits that would clean out my gutters from the ground. I have to use my Stihl blower with a gutter extension to do that job."

"This blower is the best product I've used in 25 years of landscape maintenance! The Solo Blower provides enough CFM air volume to force pine needles out of rock landscaping and even moves rock up to 1.5". The engine is the quietest I've used in any 2-cycle engine. The gas consumption is excellent. One tank will last all day for light clean-ups and up to 3 hours of continuous heavy use. The Solo blower is a well built machine and requires only normal maintenance. After100 hours of use, there is very little carbon build up at the exhaust and spark plug. The air discharge tubing takes a beating and stays locked together."
