Grommet Repiar Kit
I bought it to add some grommets to a canvas tarp. I managed to get it done but come to find out my kit was missing the anvil. It is ok for a quick fix but I don't recommend it for heavy duty canvas. Having never used one before, I was flabbergasted no instructions were included. Maybe my kit had been used or something. No instructions and no anvil.
If you only plan to use it once or twice ok but, if you plan to use it a lot buy something with quality.

Small Grommets
A buddy of mine turned me on to this kit, saw it in the catalog. The tools for seating the grommets is nice, but I already had that. I bought the kit because grommets at the local hardware stores are sold individually and are expensive. You get what is advertised, but the grommets are small, not alot of shoulder to keep it in the tarp.

Grommet kit
This is the perfect example of getting what you pay for, it worked but is not a quality grommet.
I was a little disapointed with the kit so I searched on google and found a grommet kit made by C.S. Osborne and that is a high quality grommet kit, made in USA!

Works great
I wanted to add more Grommets to my tarp so there could be one every foot and this product worked great. The tool is a little cheep but it gets the job done and that's all I am worried about.

Not thoroughly impressed.
Item was shipped and received promptly, and after trial and error, served its purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it. I struggle to understand why the manufacturer doesn't include a simple set of instructions. Sure, with some trial and error you can figure it out, but why should you have to? Why not just just include them? It didn't cut holes cleanly so they had to be trimmed which is another gripe. It would also be nice if the "pouch" they come in would snap, close, fasten, etc. to keep the grommets from falling out in transit. Lastly, the grommets themselves are very small, even when compared to those found on the cheapest of tarps. All-in-all, I wouldn't recommend this kit.

Good Grommets, the tool is not the best but does the job quiet well. I really like the length of the grommet I was working with thick material and they worked well. I ran low an bought some from a too, place and they were not near the quilality.

Improving Trap tie down.
The Grommet repair kit was just as shown and described on your site. I needed to add additional grommets to a trap to create a shade over our dog run. The kit contained all that I needed and some extra. It was easy to use. It was shipped out promptly and received in a timely manner.

Grommet repar kit saves the day
I recently was hanging 2 giant plastic canopys and realized that I needed a few grommets where there were none installed. Luckily I had ordered the grommet repair kit from Northern Tool when I had ordered the canopys so I had them on hand. I managed to install 12 grommets while in a scissor lift 25 feet off the ground. No problems at all. The only tool required was a hammer and the job came out top notch. If you need to install or replace grommets this is an easy kit to use that really gets them in tight.

Hole punch does not punch a clean hole in the tarp material. Also the grumets do not go together correctly.
