Great item, wrong picture
What's pictured is the S680 (1/4" red hose, 1/4" fittings), not this item which is the S680-2 (3/8" black hose, 1/4" fittings). The difference is the diameter of the rubber hose as well as the orifice size in the swivel. This one would be better than the S680 for anything that demands a lot of air (like an impact wrench).

Milton Snubber Air Hose
I have the Milton Snubber Air Hose Model# S-680-2 on most of my air tools and they work great. No leaking and these allow your tool to swivel with easy and the long hose helps to protect and absorb shock to couplers from your impact tools. The stock picture shows the hose in Red but they have always come in Black when I have ordered which I actually preferred!

mechanic
I purchased five of these hoses about 2 years ago and they are very reliable and worth the money that I spent on them. I am going to purchase five more very soon.

snubber hose
The hose provides a lot of mobility for your air tool, because the swivel at the tool coupling allows the air tool to twist independently of your air supply hose.
(Air supply hoses tangle so fast because of twisting them - so a coupling like this is almost a necessity if you pick up and put the air tool down a number of times.)
Another customer found the fittings to leak. I own about five of them and none of them have been found to leak yet; however I put these snubber hoses on the air tools and left them on the tools, instead of putting them on the tool and removing them all the time. I think that continual re-tightening of the fittings weakens them.
So, I suggest to buy a snubber hose for every air tool you want to put one on and just leave it on the tool. This adds about ten dollars to the cost of every air tool - but I have found the extra cost is well worth the convenience

3/8" Air line leader hose
The hose worked very well the first few times I used it. I was able to cut down wight, I was capble of getting into tighter spots, and flex the hose in way I couldn't before. The down fall to the hose is the brass crimps on the barbed fitting. My crimps started to leaks after just a couple times of use. I would give this product 3 Stars
