"I bought these chocks for use with my truck and wife's suv. I haven't had any problems with them or the length of the rope. I just did an oil change and transmission drain and fill on my wife's suv, and front brakes and oil change on my truck and neither vehicle moved an inch with these chocks in play. I bought these because they are very similar to the one's I used to use when I worked at the airport to chock small aircraft, ground support equipment, and company vehicles, and always thought they'd be good for use at home for routine vehicle maintenance."

"The chocks work great in any weather. Only problem was that the supplied rope was too short to fit either side of an SUV tire. I replaced it with a piece that was 30 inches long and it works great."
