Seems to be accurate, but very delicate
I used this with pride that it was made in the USA, and it worked great for a while, until I dropped it. I dropped it only once, not even a long drop, and it was destroyed. The plastic lens fell off and the gauge consistently read 10 pounds instead of being at zero. It was unfixable.

milton air gauge
If you want an air gauge that is so easy to use, this is it. I really like the big dial the quick and easy pressure release. As I write this review I have come to realize the key word here is easy. Boy that was easy.

Milton Tire Guage
I was disappointed in that the gauge has to be read while attached to the valve stem. It would be preferably for the pressure reading to remain until the release button was pushed. Appears to be of quality materials

I know what works for me
5 stars is excellent and I don't know enough about tire gauges to know if this dial face Milton is excellent, but it is good and has worked very well for me. I have used others of this type but this Milton is clearly the best. The angled head is really helpful in getting an accurate reading and the construction is quite solid. I've tried gauges without an angles head and been frustrated by repeated attempts to get a read I trusted. They also felt poorly made with loose tolerances compared to the Milton. This is my backyard mechanics opinion. Others might make an equally good case for another brand I've never used, but I like the Milton just fine.
