Versatile Vise
I gave my old work bench to my son and got a new one. I needed a new vise and purchased this one. Now, I am mad at my self for using my old one for so long. This one is so handy with the ability to rotate both ways.

GREAT
Best vise for the money. Heavy and strong enough, love the rotating feature and pipe holder. Can not see myself spending $500.00 for a vise to hold same things this one does with no problems.

Solid Vise
I had read through the reviews before purchasing and everyone was spot on:
Good Quality for the money
You'll need to add a pointer (easy enough) to go with the degree tape on the body of the vise
So far so good. I have not used it for any larger projects at this point but what I got was what I expected.

5in. Bench vice
Overall good quality. Handle could be a little thicker steel. Good value for the money.

the vise i recomend
This vise is a wonderful vise to use. It has alot of leverage for bending metal but yet it is very gentle with fragile things. I love the vise that I bought from northern and I would recommend it to any of my friends. There is only one bad thing I found about this vise and that was the packaging. When I got this vise the box had a huge whole in the side and the foam that keeps it in place was broken. But that might have just been bad luck. So, in the end I love this vise and every thing about it.

Industrial 5in Bench Vise
So far-So good. This vise has performed as expected. Would have been nice if the manufacturer included caps for the jaw for when working with surfaces on material you don't want marred. But that was easily overcome by making my own.
This is a solid vise.

good value
This vise is a good value for the money it costs. It should meet the needs of most people who would have need of a vice. The only thing I found to dislike was the lack of a pointer to go with the degree tape on the body of the vice. One without the other is not very helpful. Fortunately that is easily fixed with a sharp point to create a pointer. Other than that minor complaint the vice has worked very well.
