Sure, with the proper equipment and welding skills it is possible to shorten this axle. Keep in mind that modifying this axle will void the manufacturers warranty.

Camber / Kink

Details:

I have one of these axles (Reliable Torsion 2K Lbs) under a Triton Trlr. How much of a "V" shape for camber should it have? Can't tell if it's bent, or kinked for camber; seems like it's bent up quite a bit. Do you have a rear or front profile diagram showing the amount of camber built in to the axle?
