Gas transfer
It seems that you cannot expect the cheaper ones to last more than a few months/uses. I am looking at a longer term use and the warranty will take this out 2 years. I am satisfied with that and when the time comes that an EMP knocks out power, this will still run, reliably.These two points are the sellers for me, I currently have an old rotary for cast iron for diesel so this fills the need for gas transfer.

Great Little Pump
Man these are the most valuable little pumps I have ever bought. Got two of these bout 10 years ago and they have never had a problem.
Sure the little lynch pins break or fall out over time, but I keep a baggie in the glove box with replacements and that plus a little WD-40 keeps these pumps purring like kittens.
Got these hooked to 2 55 gallon truck tanks and we use them for everything. Filling trunks, bobcats, boats, jet skies, literally everything. I switch them from gas to diesel, and do not have any issues.
You can pump quickly and efficiently and all you need is a little muscle.

Almost electric
This pump pumps almost as much a a 20gpm electric pump without to much hassel. Competetively priced to. I keep it in the auxiliary tank on my pickup. Can fill up a 180 gal. cap tractor tank in about six minutes. Happy customer.

Works good when the barrel is full
This pump works great it takes about 4 pumps to fill a 4 quart container. However when you get to the bottom 1/4 of the barrel it starts pulling a lot of air and can be difficult to tilt a barrel and continue to pump.

Construction Tades Person
This is a great pump. Very heavy duty. Moves diesel fuel well. You can tell by the number of pumps how much fuel has been dispensed. The fill tube can rust so keep it away from water. NT might not have the best price so take advantage of their low price guarantee. I prefer it over an electric pump because it is slient and reliable.

Tuthill Hand Fuel Pump
I purchased this pump for gasoline transfer from a drum for farm and home equipment. The original tube corroded severely and flaked rust. Tuthill replaced it with no questions asked! Great product support! The replacement is doing fine. The rust created problems in my equipment so I installed a filter and I highly recommend anyone using this type pump do so. The hand pump was easy to install and is easy to use. A good product from a company that backs its products!

Tuthill Hand Fuel Pump
Having had experience with an old hand pump for many years, I could not believe how much inprovement was in the Tuthill Hand Fuel Pump.
It has more volume and pumps with ease of motion.
Northern Tool is a very customer friendly company.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Tuthill Hand Fuel Pump Model FR152NT
This pump was very easy to put into service. The efficiency of this pump is unexpected for the price. The pump works very smooth, is easy to use and to this point has not given any negative feedback.
The pump is worth the price, and I recommend it highly. I would, without hesitation, purchase the pump again.
