not bad for the price
not quite as easy as i hoped to setup. i welded the caliper assembly on a bracket and then welded that onto the go kart frame after getting into correct position....problem is that the correct position is very sensitive. ended up removing spot welds holding the bracket onto the go-kart frame and using a couple bolts to hold it on instead with some scrap metal wedges to finesse it into the perfect spot. i left the braking disc floating on the axle. some basic instructions would have been nice. no instructions are included. all that said, it does stop the go-kart but i'm not locking the wheels into a skid if i wanted to.

Takes some work
Be sure you take the time and set the brake up correctly. Do not forget to brake in the pads and the disc. Works good on kart but only once set up properly. I started my kart and went for a spin without double checking the brakes, almost got messy! good product, when you take the time. I would buy it all over again!

Brake Assembly
Bought it because it was cheap, but it did a good job. Only complaint is that it was tricky to install.

Disk brake
Easy to align with lots of surface area for welding to just about any kind of bracket you wish. I set mine to activate via a rod connected directly to the brake pedal through a tunnel under the seat. Provides great stopping power even when wet. It will skid two big tires on a live axle on dry pavement!!! I love this brake.
