Good for the money
This was great to use after an outside remodeling project. The only reason I didn't give it the 5 stars is because if you mistakenly grab the top handle it releases all the nails you just picked up. Once you learn how to hold it, it does a great job.

Release Magnet
I bought this magnet to clean up some nails and iron where a building was burnt down, it works great,
I also own the shorter 11 inch unit, the positive of the shorter unit is dumping it in a 5 gallon bucket, the 20" unit is a little hard to empty easly in to a bucket I finally solved this problem by using a wheel barrow to dump into. as where I was there were hundreds of pounds of nails to be picked up.
I also use it in the welding shop picking up welding rod ends and separating them from the dirt of the floor sweepings, I like both units personally I like the 11" over the 20" but both are great tools, and work well,
I like the handle length and the release on them I have other magnets that have releases but no handle and other that have handles but no releases, this unit is a good unit and easly to use, I have not even looked for one of the old magnets units since I have had these,

AMK Manufacturing Load Release Long Handle Magnet
This product works very well. The magnet is strong and the release feature is a must have!
I purchased this item and borrowed one on wheels from a friend. The one on wheels is great for use on the pavement but this one without the wheels is needed if you are picking up magnetic debris on dirt or a lawn on the sides of the driveway or any other place it may be used with an uneven surface. It also works well on the driveway you just may burn a few more calories if you have a long one :)
If you’re tired of nails in your tires this product is for you!

Prevents flat tires, works great in gravel
Works wonders pulling nails, screws, staples and other metal objects buried in gravel. I recently had a carport torn down in my driveway and the debris left behind included every imaginable metal object that could cause a flat tire. I motivated my 9-year old son to pull this around the driveway by paying him $0.05 per piece of metal. If I had any idea this magnet would work this well I would have paid himless per piece as he wound up earning $48 in just a few hours. Along the way he found some hazards not related to the carport debris, such as fish hook, not to mention some long lost tools, ball bearings, etc.

long handle magnet, load release
Received this product in a very timely manner.
It is just what I expected and am very pleased with the performance.
It picks up large quanities of nails and metal objects and releases the load with ease.
Wheels would have been nice, but for the difference in price, I decided to go with this unit.
Being a woman, it is a little heavier than I expected but nothing I can't handle.
Worked with it about an hour and it didn't tire me out.
Thanks for the opportunity to share my view of this product.
