Works pretty well, could be better though.
This is a good inexpensive notcher for people that don't need a lot of angles. You can notch tube quickly and easily. It works well in a floor stand drill press where you can drop the table about 15 inches. The only complaint I have had with mine is that the arbor setup is really weak and I can't seem to find a good replacement. If you just thread hole saws on the arbor, there are no side lugs to hold the hole saw in place. So at some point the saw will catch and will chew up the threads on the arbor. The arbor is a 5/8" fine thread which I had trouble finding a nut for so I could hold the hole saw in place. The design feels a little cheap, like the way the tubing is clamped in. But in the end, it works. I'm notching 2" x .250" DOM and using some good quality bi-metal hole saws, and it cuts through quickly and accurately.

Built on the cheap side
This is a bare minimum tubing notcher. The degree indicator doesn't match the actual degrees. The locking key shaft is cut eccentric. The paint was flaking off before it was used. For the money it isn't a bad buy. If you are looking for a quality tool for every day use step up to the next model.

Great tool for the money
I bought this tool to build an ADA hand-rail out of 2" diameter 16 gauge tubing. If you are going to notch pipe or use it a lot I would step up to one of the made in USA models. But for my current need it works great and is well built.
