Ironton Light-Duty Bench Vise - 4in.W Jaws, 3 5/8in. Capacity
Ironton Light-Duty Bench Vise 4 Inch
This vice has already earned its keep by holding wood pieces for wood carving, holding a glass cutter to cut bottles, holding a power drill for grinding, holding an aluminum piece while I cut and shaped it into a gate latch, and acting as an anvil to re-shape damaged brass rivets, all in just a couple of weeks. It is a sturdy little vice for the home handy man on a budget. Product quality is fine. Secured to a sturdy bench with four stout lag bolts, it makes a great work platform, and the ability to rotate it is an outstanding feature.

If anyone needs a small vise this one is perfect for any small job. I couldn't resist this offer because I have been hunting a vise for over a year and finally got the deal I was waiting on.

light duty, solid
used only for light duty in my garden shed, saving me from having to go back and forth with the work. The heavier work is done on my Wilton in the workshop.. So far it appears solid, jaws are parrell, grips well. swivel holds in place.

perfect size for portable table
This vise was a great addition to my rolling work cart. Now I have the holding power or just the third hand when needed on the shop floor.

Nice light duty vice
I use the vice for small projects. It was an inexpensive vice that works fine for light duty applications. Makes a nice second vice for work area in my basement for small hobby projects. It is not what I consider a professional grade vice and would not use it in a heavy duty application.

Great little vice
I've been shopping for a new vice for a smaller work area for a while. this one came along at the right price. I'm very happy with it. I takes a lot of abuse and I have no doubt it will retain its rigidity.

This is an inexpensive vise that is adequate for light duty work. I mounted it on my welding bench to hold items in place during welding.
