Energy Cube Cooler/Warmer with Ice Compartment - 8-Liter Capacity
This cooler works great but keep in mind that the temperature that it cools to is from 70f so it will be warmer if the ambient temperature is higher.

12 Volt cooler
I've been wonting an electric cooler for my truck and this one looked good. It cools down pretty quick ( to around 40* in 75* truck ) but the plug in to the cooler is loose and worries me, also I haven't found a 112 volt adapter for it yet.

I bought this cooler to keep water and beverages, and sandwiches cold when I travel. I knew that this would be small from reading the specifications. It fit nicely behind the console, and the carrying strap was handy.
I did not use the ice cube tray, as the cooler would have to be stood on end to keep the water from spilling out. Keeping the ice cube tray out gave more room inside.
The noise from the fan was prominent. The interior did not hold cold well once the power was turned off. The lid was loosely fitting. Perhaps adding an ice pack or a frozen water bottle would be helpful, but this would decrease the interior capacity.
This is adequate for one person. I did not evaluate the warmer function.

I like that it has a digital temperature read out so that you can see what the temperature is on the inside.
The inside height is a little short, it can not handle 16oz bottle water standing up.
12oz cans it can handle.

The Energy Cube does get cold enough to make ice, but the included ice tray is so ridiculously small that it really isn't all that much use. Seems to me they could have devoted the.bottom of the unit to a more useful ice tray! That said... it IS a very effective little cooler, makes no noise at all that I can tell, and, with the purchase of a AC/DC converter transfers into a handy little cooler you can take inside overnight on a road trip.

energy cube works great
I tried the cube it works great it will cool food and drink very quickly I really like the product. Only things I found that I didn't care for was the ice tray not needed but nice and they should also have a cord for 120 volts. If you want to use the cube with 120 volts. You need to get a 120 volt to 12v dc transformer with a output of min of 9 amps. Also a d c receptacle which you can get at an auto parts store. This system works great.

Got this to use in motorcycle sidecar and have found it does a great job keeping drinks cold. Actually too cold if you put on bottle frozen in first to help with the internal temperature to start, others started to freeze after about 3 hours on the road. Just watch the temperature on the display and turn off when hitting freezing temps. Excellent item and great for price, heck a small Yeti is 4 times the price and you have to use ice.

powerful enough to keep drinks cold
i used it for about 10 hours driving trip and had a bottle of water and juice plus ice cube tray. It constantly made ice cubes every hour or so, so I could use them to make my drinks even colder. Will use it again for the next trip.
