Highback Kubota Tractor Seat - Black, Model# 53000BK
Install on a New Holland TC25 tractor. Had to make a adapter plate because bolt pattern is different.
Works fine otherwise.

If you have a Kubota B7800 and are here then you've probably got one of those poor factory seats (that didn't get swapped out). I bought my tractor used and it came with what Kubota thought was a "seat." I was going to patch up the original, which was falling apart, but did a bit of research on a replacement and ran across this seat. I should have bought this seat first thing! No longer am I slidding forward (and being girddled by the seatbelt).
Very few things will I give such high marks for, but this is one that unequivocably deserves it.
Oh, like others, I too struggled a bit to get it bolted up. Was more of a quality control issue with the bolt holes not lining up exactly. I just kind of applied a bit more force to get the fourth bolt in (having the other three loose). I wasn't happy about this extra effort, but after enjoying a far better experience in actual use I feel it was a pretty trivial experience.

Does not fit BX23 or L35, and wrong height
This seat does not fit the bolt pattern on a BX 23, (7 1/2 by 5 1/2). it fits an L35 pattern, (6 x 2). There are many different hole spacings as mentioned in the seat specifications. The main problem is the height of the bottom pan on the seat. The bottom of the pan is about 1 inch above the edges of the seat, making the seat edge sit too low and hit the adjusting lever and part of the mounting bracket on both BX23 and L35. The factory seats have a bottom pan which is about 1 1/2 inches below the edges of the seat, which is sufficient to clear all the mounting hardware. Although the bolt pattern matches, using this seat on an L35 will require making a shim about 1 1/2 inches thick to go under the seat. (The shim will also have to extend far enough back sit on the rubber bumpers which support the back of the seat.) Look at your current seat to see if the bottom pan is below the edges of the seat. If it is, you will have to make a shim to use this one.
Also, this seat has a large hole in the center of the bottom pan, about 3 inches diameter. If you tip it up, it will fill with water. You will have to leave it flat. It is designed with 2 drain holes which should work if you don't tip it up.
Other than the wrong height, and the many holes in the bottom, it seems to be OK quality.
The bolt thread in the mounting holes is 5/16 x 18 USS thread. I recommend getting new stainless steel bolts to mount any seat, as the mounting bolts tend to rust inside the seat. Retapping the threads to match the original 8 x 1.25 mm thread will expose bare metal and cause early rusting.
I decided it was too much trouble to make a shim 1 and 1/2 thick and returned the seat. You may decide otherwise.

Had this seat a short period of time but it seems to be of good quality and is comfortable.

Fits good not great.
Re-tapped the holes to 8mm and the stock bolt fit the holes but the location does not allow the seat to tilt all the way up.
Otherwise it is a great replacement seat .

PERFECT FIT !
This was a PERFECT replacement for the torn seat on my B5200. Thanks to the other posters, I ran a 8-1.25 mm tap thru the holes and used the existing bolts !
It does not tilt up as much as the original but with no tears, I don't have to leave it up anymore. Better back support than the original.

Not Kuboba's exact replacement
nuts on Kubota are metric, nut on this seat are SAE. I need to buy 4- 5/16"x3/4" bolts to install. Kubota bolts will start, buy could possibly beak before they are seated. NOTE: Kubota bolts are very soft.
Not a problem with the seat, just not noted. To be an exact replacement for Kubota, should contain metric nuts or include 4 bolts to match their seat.

Perfect fit. Had to buy metric bolts as old bolts we missing from my B-8200, but seat bolted right to factory brackets and is very comfortable.
