Useful tool very useful tool. We use it to knock rust off of old metal to prepare for paint. works well. Every now and then it will stick and you have to hit the needles on a piece of metal then it works great again. Does that weather you oil it or not. April 23, 2013

GREAT TOOL I am in the middle of restoring a antique farm tractor that had 3-5 coats of paint & lots fo rust. I tried sand blasting (it worked but what a mess it left my shop) Paint remover took 4-5 times to get to the rust. Then I saw the air needle scaler in the catalog.I asked around & no one I knew had tried one. I tried it & LOVED it. It works fast and gets into tight spots removed all paint & rust down to bear metal. Now all my friends want to borrow it October 8, 2012

Awesome tool I originally bought this tool to use on my snowblower that had a few little spots of rust starting to show, I wanted to clean them off and repaint it, well, I just happened to have the tool with me when I stopped in to see a friend that was working on the frame of a pickup, he was trying to use a grinder to clean the rust off so he could weld it, I told him to wait one minute and I went out to get my needle scaler, plugged it in to the air hose and told him to watch as I went to work, within 30 seconds I had the spot he was trying to clean shiny metal clean, even around the bolts that he could not get to with the grinder. He was impressed and wanted to know where to order one. His words were: I have to have one of those: Now every time I see him, he comments about how much work this tool saves him. And thanks me.
