Truly a Multitool
Wow! What can I say. I have purchased Milwaukee drills before and there is no stopping them, so much power and long lasting. I have never used used a multi tool before I purchased this one. Now that I have it, I wonder why I didn't purchase one earlier. I have only used it for cutting.
A customer had a pipe leak and the plumber went searching in her walls for the leak and in the process hacked up a lot of drywall. I had to straighten out the cuts in order to patch. The adjustable speed really came in handy. I just set it on 2 so that it would not be sending so much dust in the air, and it made real short work of the crooked holes, and dust was kept to a minimum.
I just finished remodeling my master bathroom. Plunge cuts into wood were a breeze. After encountering my fair share of nails the blade did wear out. but because it has a universal mounting pad. I just went to my local hardware store and picked up a replacement and was back in business. I purchased another XC battery so that I could be charging and working with no stopping.
Another great tool.

WOW!! What a handy tool
I bought this for a kitchen remodel thinking it would be handy to have a cordless version. I already own a Rockwell with a cord and have put that thing through the trenches and it has been a great tool with plenty of power.
The M12 out performs the Rockwell hands down, not sure if it is the speed of the length of the rotation of what to call it but it does cut quicker than the Rockwell.
I was impressed with the power of the M12 in this tool, i thought it was going to be a pooch since it was a battery tool but it has not been.
I have always used a Rotozip for cutting drywall outlets, lights, etc. But after purchasing this the Roto will sit in the tool cabinet. The M12 multi tool makes a lot less mess than the Roto and IMO does a better job and is easier to control for precise cuts.
I am disappointed that Milwaukee does not offer consumables for this tool, which has not been a deal breaker because the tool comes with all the adapters to use other manf. blades.
You will not be disappointed if you buy this tool.

Awesome Multi Tool
This is probably one of the best multi tools I have ever bought. Not only does it have the power to do anything I want the battery life is awesome too. You cut through plywood and drywall like nothing!

milwaukee has the most power of the cordless mutitool, battery life is excellent. i have used the bosch tool, the batteries did not last and did not stay locked in. i still use my original fien multitool when the job demands. but if you are looking for portable tool this is the one. i have been a carpenter for 40 years, and still find milwaukee tools superior to others, but there are always exceptions.

The tool works very well, and I like the fact that you can use accessories from other manufacturers. The only downside is that the battery capacity allows limited working time.......the freshly charged battery will die before the just changed battery is charged so you cannot work continuosly. A change to the 12 volt high capacity battery is recommended if you need to use the tool for extended periods.

Nice tool for the money.
Bought one to cut out a large section of damaged drywall and was very pleased with the performance. Played around with some practice plunge cuts and small sanding jobs and liked the results. Nice that it is portable and is the answer for some of those special situation issues.
One thing though. It eats the power from the supplied batteries QUICKLY.
Recommend that you buy one of the extra power batteries if your going to be using this tool a lot. Hope they come out with more accesories for this tool soon. And be advised that even with the adaptor you can't use Rockwell blades. Dremel yes.
