Milwaukee M12 Cordless Combo Kit - 2-Tool Set, 3/
For the money, this is one of the finest Milwaukee Tools you can have in your tool kit. It has several different tools such as the pipe cutter, cut-off saw and the impact driver that are small enough to not break your back to carry them to a job but powerful and durable to be a mainstay in your tool inventory. I use mine all the time whether I am working on a heating system or water line, building stud wall (the impact driver is a super tool/ light but will drive a 3.5 in. screw over and over again. I have purchased the heavy duty batteries which add additional driving life. Having the two different drivers makes is a super handy tool set so you aren't changing from bit to driver all the time. I have an M28 drill and impact driver that are also super but too heavy for working over your head on a job. The M-12 set is a super set for the home handy man and even for professional contractors.

These tools work great. They are compact and lightweight, yet powerful. A very good value.

A most useful duo
The drill/driver is one of the best tools I have used ever. It has enough power to drive deck screws in completely, and yet with the clutch it can be sensitive enough for a new user installing drywall. The impact driver was excellent for driving the lag screws needed to install a deck and is compact enough to reach in to those tight spots on the job site. Milwaukee does it again.

What a great tool!!
I have owned Milwaukee V18 tools for many years and love them. When the M12 came out i was skeptical how much power they would have so I didn't take a serious look at them.
I had a plumber come out and do some work and he had an assortment of the M12 tools so i gave them a try and ever since I have been hooked!!
They don't have the power of the 18V, but really how many times does a person need that much power for tasks? When i do then i go to a corded tool or the V18.
I find myself going for the M12 95% of the time just because of the weight, balance, and power. Great tool and worth the money.

Milwaukee M12 Cordless combo kit Model 2497-22
This Cordless combo kit is the best tool money can buy. The value for the product you get is remarkable! We use them daily at an electrical pre-fabrication shop and have tried all the other brands but the Milwaukee is by far the best.We purchased 25 of these units to use in our shop and in the field. The impact is the best tool that anyone has come out with in years. We love them!

The Hammer Drill/Driver has more than enough power to tackle most home improvement jobs with ease. The compact hammer drill makes it easy to get in the hard to reach areas. Works well with 1/4" size concrete bits. The ability to turn the clutch down on the drill/driver keeps from stripping out your work too. The Impact Driver is a must have...enough power to twist off lag bolts...take the lawn mower apart...or anything else you could think works well with the 1/4" hex drive!

Small but powerful
The combination of these two tools allows the user to work efficiently and go where the larger 18v systems will not allow. These are reasonably priced and do a great job. Would recommend getting an extra battery if you plan on using these tools consistently.

Perfect diy set
For The person who works a bit in their garage or around the house these are perfect. I bought mine full well knowing I won't be doing full time work with them. Saying that they're a perfect balance of power and weight that will do just about anything you could ask a 12 volt system.
I once asked a union glazer why he used a smaller voltage drill and he told me for the project they were working on a 14 volt would last all day. He also went on to say that the 14 volt wouldn't tire him out holding it over his head all day. That's what i like about this set around home I can use them all day, the batteries charge fast enough that they're charged by the time I need them again, and my arms are not sore when I'm done.
All that being said for a few more dollars I really like the 18 volt set, and it also gives you more options of tools to choose from.
