  1. Can this winch pull a compact to mid-size car into a shop with slight incline?

    1. Absolutely, be sure vehicle is in Neutral, no brakes, tires inflated. This little thing has lots of power.

    2. Depends on the weight of the car. I pulled a 52 inch lawnmower onto a trailer and it worked well. Did not even seem to be straining.

    3. We use these to pull cable throught conduit. I think pulling a freewheeling car up a slight incline would be well within the capabilities of this tool.

  2. How does a left-handed person operate this tool?

    1. one can use eather side of the machine. so no problem for a lefty to use. I'm a lefty and it doesnt make a diff.

    2. There is just a trigger you pull to engage the winch you can use either hand. I am left handed and have been using this winch for years.

    6. Because of the configuration of the direction switch and trigger, I can't see how it would make a difference. I operated mine upside down and right side up and never had a problem.

    1. Yes, it has power in and power out.

    3. The unit has a reversing switch so it powers winds the cable in and out. There is only one speed, so the power unwinding can be a bit slow.

  4. is there a different model or is this model able to charge up so you can use it on the road without having to worry about plugging it in?

    1. This unit is AC power only. It does not have cordless capability. Please see item 147027 for the cordless option.

    2. I tried using my F-150's inverter and it did not have enough power, bring a small generator if no outlet is available

    3. This model is 120 volt only . I believe they make a cordless one for that application. I haven't tried it but after using the corded one i wouldn't be scared to . I'm really pleased with mine .

    4. It can not be charged, it runs on a 110VAC motor and must be plugged into at least a 10 amp 110VAC service.
      I use it with a 3000watt Gasoline Generator and it works great in remote areas that have no power.

  5. If you're lifting something and stop, will it hold the load where you stop?

    4. The PullzAll is designed for both lifting and pulling. The unit is built with a load limiter to shut it down once the 1000lb threshold has been exceeded. The PullzAll will indefinitely hold the load even if the unit is unplugged.

  6. Will this unit's cable "free spool" out or do you have to "power out" the cable.

    1. no free spool, must reverse to extend cable

  7. Can I use this winch to hold 350 lbs in the air for four months?

    1. held up 250lb rough mower reel for a month with no problems

    2. it will hold it in the air but as with any lifting device you should add a safety, like a stand under neth or a alloy chain of approprate strenght to act as a safety.

  8. Is there a way to double back the cable? So I can double the strength and or add extra slow control speed.

    1. WARN makes a cable block just for that purpose.

    2. You could use a snatch block on the live cable, and hook live cable end back to a fixed point. You will most likely not double the capacity but you can slow your speed.

    3. This Warn Pullzall does not have a place to hook to. When using a pulley block to double pulling power you would need to hook to another stationery object.

    Does it have some form of automatic brake if it loses power?
    Also is there any sort of manual crank if it loses power?

    1. It does have a cable brake but no hand crank.
