Call NorthernTool and give them the model number from the website that matches the product you purchased. I just ordered a switch last week and received it today. Now I need to know how to install it; I'll post that information once we figure it out. Good luck!

Yes for all the metal parts but they may discolor. You are much better off by boiling the metal parts (every one of them) both before and after use. This is the best way to be SURE they are sterile and bacteria free. You don't need to grow or harbor any salmonella in your grinder!

Kitchener #12 Stainless Steel Electric Meat Grinde Picked up this grinder to process deer we shot during hunting season. Easy to setup comes with couple different size cutting wheels. We used the largest disk for grinding up the meat worked great, and easy to clean up. Used bleach and water 50/50 mix to clean and for sanitary reasons, an a little cooking oil to preserve the cutting disk. October 15, 2012

Similar grinder, great for raw pet diet! I bought a grinder from notherntool identical to this one some ten years ago, when they did not have the kitchener brand name on it. I do believe it is the 'same' grinder and guts and parts, but have no way to verify. Mine has worked flawlessly for ten years. When it does not run smoothly the problem is a easy fix like loosening the nut on front, clearing an obstruction. I have used it approximately once per month for ten years, to grind 12 to 15 lb batches of bone-in chicken for my cat's raw diet. The power switch just became loose a few months ago and just broke / popped out. I have ordered the power switch here at northerntool by calling customer service, for this grinder since it appears identical in appearance to mine, in hopes it fits to replace. I'll post again later to let you know if we installed it successfully. I would appreciate anyone responding who might know HOW to replace the power switch! February 17, 2012

meat grinder I have a small supermarket, in which we sell hundreds of pounds of store made chicken salad weekly and we use this grinder to grind our meat and vegetables ( could not do with out it) . It is worth every dollar and it paid for it self the first month we got it. The Grinder I purchased this grinder over three Year ago and I yet to find anything to bog it down. My Father was a butcher for over 40 years and he too says this grinder is as powerful as the commersal style grinders that he worked with for years. I not only would recommend this product to my friends, I have several times so maybe they would leave mine alone. LOL November 18, 2008

Great Grinder Grinder works great for making raw diet for my dogs. It grinds meat and bone with little effort. I have been using it for two years now. On/Off switch is starting to give me a little trouble but I think I can fix that myself. August 19, 2008

Too powerfull This machine is overpowered but very good if you can feed it fast enough. One could use a variety of plate sizes. When I bought it itcame with only one course size plate. I called and asked for fine size but got coarse size again. August 18, 2008

The Meat Grinder This is an excellent meat grinder that I've used for a number of years to prepare meat and organ meat meals for my dogs. The only negative thing about it is that the power button needs replaced periodically. Other than that, it's a great machine! August 18, 2008
