Justrite AccuFlow Type II Safety Fuel Can - 5-Gallon, Red, Model# 7250130
TDOT Fuel Can
I purchased this product to replace other cans that may not have met all the Texas DOT requirements for transporting fuel. This can seems to meet or exceed all those requirements. It is a solid metal can and should last many years.

Durable & Reliable
I own other Justrite cans. Much better and more durable than the run of the mill plastic containers. They cost more, but you get more and they last forever.

Justrite safety fuel can
Operates as it should with no leaks. Appears to be well built strong and sturdy. I have a lawn service business and have gone through several plastic cans. This one is safer and hopefully it will last longer, time will tell. Definitely would recommend it.

Great for Off-Roading
I purchased this gas can for my wilderness Jeep adventures. I've taken other types of gas cans in the past, and they all leaked while driving rough terrain. This product kept the fuel inside, making my adventure more enjoyable and safer.

Yes, it really is awesome. Made in USA, too.
See "Totally awesome" review below. Totally accurate. I have to haul gas, for my solar backup generator, over 4 miles of bad dirt road, in a Toyota Rav4. Today, for the first time in 8 years, I hauled 10 gallons (I bought two cans--quite a cash outlay but glad I did it ) with the windows rolled up all the way, and arrived home not asphyxiated by gas fumes for the first time in 8 years. Then, for the first time in 8 years I filled up the genny without splashing a drop. Very satisfied.

Awesome Gas Can
I know what you're thinking. It's a lot of money for a gas can. But I also know why you're looking into this particular can: the other cans you've purchased leak all over your car and spill gasoline while fueling. You will not have these issues with this can. Fueling is a breeze with no spills. No more spills in your car. The powder coated finish will last forever. You could buy this can once for a higher price, or buy multiple plastic cans over the years and frustrate yourself. Treat yourself to something nice, man. Buy this can.
Also, I have the 2 gallon can. I give it the same review.

Worth the Money
This is the best can for the money....the plastic ones always had an issue of leaking and just trying to manuver when pouring or trying to hold open the plastic release and handle...this one lift grab the metal handle to open valve and it pours smoothly....definitely a good buy....online right now...and ordering my second one....

Worth the Price
I think it was about 5 years ago when the plastic cans started changing. I’m talking about the plastic gas cans that you get any of the chain hardware stores. They all seem to be pretty much the same. Instead of just a straight pouring spout, they have this plastic vent thing that you have to hold open in order to get the gas to come out. It is messy, leaks, difficult to use and doesn’t work very well. On top of that, it breaks. I broke that third one in four years, and I decided that I have had enough. I found this can, what a world of difference. I can hold this can totally full upside down and it won’t leak a drop. Very easy to poor gas into the riding lawn mower and other machines that I have. I’m considering buying a one gallon version for my 2 stroke gas. If I had any complaints it would be that the can is round and it is expensive. Other than that, it is one high quality item.

Justrite Safety Fuel Can - 5 Gallon #7250130
I've been looking for a well designed and constructed metal fuel can for use with outdoor equipment as I just didn't trust the plastic containers.
I first found a metal fuel can at a local store which was okay but didn't have a built-in pour funnel. In searching further I found the Justrite safety can and ordered one. I liked it enough to purchase a second. It's well designed and constructed, easy to fill and, with the attached pour spout, was just what I was looking for.
The only reason I didn't rate it as 5 Stars is for two aspects: First, it does pour a bit more slowly than would be ideal but that might be a safety factor in the design. Secondly, since a five gallon can is heavy when full, it would be an advantage to have a small handle on the bottom of the can to use as a hold when pouring. Other than those two aspects the can is the best I have found.
