Much Better Than Expected
I bought two of these drills about six months ago as I was travelling for an installation and didn't want to risk losing some more expensive tools possibly being left behind. I intended to use one as a backup but ended up using one as a drill and the other for driving screws. I find them to be compact and light with adequate drill time for most of my portable needs. Not the highest speed or torque available today but only priced at about 35-45% of the tools I'm used to. I've recharged both at least 30-40 times so far with no loss of charge volume. I'm sold on these underdogs and will try other products under this label!

Does most jobs nicely
So far, it's working very well and ergonomically for the jobs I'm doing around the house. The battery life is fine. I'm just worried about what to do when the battery wears out.

I never owned a cordless drill and was skeptical about buying one but when this came available I took it. This drill is great for around the house projects and even some heavy duty stuff. It's light weight and very powerful for it size. A drawback is that it only came with one battery but really isn't a problem because it hold its charge a long time. I use this all the time.

Klutch Cordless Drill
This drill is excellent, when considering its intended use and price. It's light and compact, but feels very solid with great build quality. While it doesn't state it, the single sleeve keyless chuck has a spindle lock for easy bit changes. It has good speed on the high gearbox setting and good power on the lower setting. One of my major gripes with "budget" cordless tools is the battery pack the size of car battery. This battery is compact but lasts surprising long. It also fits the Klutch cordless screwdriver (with 1/4" quick change coupler), which I also bought and rate as highly as this drill. I'm told (although I don't own it yet) that it fits the Klutch 1/4" impact driver. If you catch all three on sale at the right time, you get three tools, three charges and three batteries for the price of single "professional" tool. Make sure to do the first few charges for three to five hours, regardless of the status light on the charger. (I love the manual, it states on one page that it has an overcharge protection that will never overcharge the battery and will shutoff the charger, the next page has a big warning that that the charger will not shutoff automatically and to not leave plugged in! Which one is it?) If you need extra batteries, you have to call Northern, they're not [yet] available for purchase on their site.

Great LiL Tool
Tool has good balance and stong enough for the toughest jobs. Small for tight fitting areas, and the LED work light comes in handy.
Recommend second battery.

Nice Little Drill
Works great for what it is. A lot cheaper than others. It does NOT have a battery level indicator like the ad states! Thats why I only gave it 4 stars.

Klutch Compact 12 volt Cordless Drill
I was needing a new cordless drill, and seen this Klutch Compact drill. I liked it alot. I had heard of the new Li-Ion batteries and this had one. I really didn't expect much on the torque since it was 12 volt, and I was very surprized when I used it. It was as powerful as my previous cordless drill and less volts. It is lightweight, fits hand well, the wide no chuck key collar is easy to grip to tighten and loosen tool, led lite is bright and in the right location for maximum coverage and the battery just keeps going. I have been using it alot to drill pilot holes for screws and the 3 jaw chuck doesn't slip and let the drill bit stop. Its built rugged fits in tight spots well and when I wear this one out, I will surley buy another Klutch product. A great compact drill at a great price.

Missing 2nd Battery
Unit takes 3 to 5 hours to recharge. No second battery included or offered for sale. If job depletes battery; 3 to 5 hour wait. Device worthless during this period. Second battery option would have brought 6 star rating.

Hesitated to ordered this drill to replace my worn out small utility drill. Sould never have waited. Drill is light weight, compact, versatile and has an excellent trigger speed control. The tiny light above the trigger keeps me from having to use a flash light in hard to see situations. If you are caught without your 19 volter this one can fill in fine.
Recommendation: Include extra battery or offer one for sale.
