"I really didn't know what to expect. I never had a pole saw before. This pole saw had great reviews so I decided to go with this one. I am glad that I did. I trimmed 3 trees in the back yard safer and faster then you could imagine. It really is the neatest device I've used in a long time. I almost fell out of a tree using my hand saw up a ladder. If it weren't for being roped off to the tree I wouldn't be writing this now. The pole saw is designed to do everything that you need perfectly. It slides out very easily and seems to have a spring to bring it back into place. Don't forget to use motor oil. The directions tell you not to use the usual chain oil that is really thick. I will be using this little rascal as my go to saw in the future!"

"Overall usefull product for an electric. When fully extented, its a bit heavier than I'd like, but operates well. Cutting for short periods of time is much easier on the arms. Advise being available when delivered. Due to long size of box, packageing really takes a beating in shipping [UPS]. The first one I received was sent back w/o opening due to condition of box."

"After I used my brother-in-law's last year, I wanted my own. It was out of stock when I tried to buy it. when it came back this year, I jumped on it. Of all the different ones I've looked at, this one works the best, and is easy to remove for the pole. I use it as much off the pole as I do on the pole. work great both ways. It's a great companion to go with my big STIHL saw."

Absolutely a life saver!,

"A few years ago one of our large mature honey locust trees (50'+ tall) fell onto our house during a pretty ferocious windstorm. Unfortunately for us we didn't own a chainsaw, but our neighbor had this little monster and boy was it a lifesaver!

We were outside cutting the tree off the house for a good six hours straight and this thing didn't slowdown the least bit. Not once did it bog down or couldn't make it through the hard wood of the locust.

The size of the saw was perfect, compact enough to get into a lot of tight spots, but large enough for the big branches.

The other nice thing was that when you released the trigger the chain stopped spinning pretty quickly, unlike a lot of gas and electric chainsaws I've used. This is especially great when you are dangling off a ladder/halfway up a tree and using the chainsaw one handed, it makes it a whole lot safer and reduces the chance and likelihood of accidents.

This brings me to another thing I like about it, it's fairly lightweight BUT has exceptional build quality, especially for the price (which was surprising)! Again not once during the six hours of constant use did I feel like it was unsafe or was going to break, it's built solid!

Of course a saw is only as good as it's chain, so keep it sharp and this baby will continue to run like a champ.

Whether you are pruning dead branches, removing unwanted growth, or taking down an entire tree, this saw will deliver unsurpassed performance year after year."

"I've had this less than a week and I can say I'm glad it has a 15' reach, anything shorter wouldn't be enough in my book. It is lightweight and easy to handle in my opinion. It is strong enough to withstand holding out at an extreme angles that places stress on poles. I like the quick dismounting of saw from pole and secure mounting back on again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the orange fiberglass pole separated from the length adjusting locking collar assy, it was plain to see that their wasn't enough glue on end of pole securing it to collar. I simply used a two part 5 minute epoxy making sure to align fiberglass pole slot to tab inside locking collar assy. I used it extensively without a glitch and I am certain it will continue to work. Most would've simply shipped it back but I deemed it very unnecessary in this case. If this happens to you don't fret, go to your local hardware store, glue it properly and then wait 24 hours like I did before reusing. That being said I would buy another in a minute if I needed another pole saw.

"I had very specific requirements for an electric pole saw that I could use for heavy pruning, yet was light enough for my wife to use.
This Remington 10 " has more than met my expectations.
It is extremely easy to operate, both on and off the pole, and is quickly changed from one mode to the other.
It has ample power to handle tougher jobs than I expected.
I'd call it a real workhorse.
The only flaw in this product is the oil reservoir which provides a constant flow of oil to the bar and chain. If it's not drained after each use the oil will continue to run out until it's empty. It can be a bit messy when stored full."
