This is a dandy machine!
This impact driver is really cool. The impacting action eliminates stripping out brand new bits, especially when driving really long screws. It has a lot of torque, but does not have to spin off heads either, because you have a lot of trigger control for finesse with this machine. The cheapest bits on the counter at the hardware store last and last with this tool. Drills are for boring holes. This is the real machine for putting in screws. I bought nut drivers of every size and use it on hose clamps in farm sprayer assembly. A 3/8" socket adapter for it allowed me to mothball the ratchets and air tools in the farm shop. Now I have a lightweight impact wrench that does not have a hissing air hose to drag around. This is a very versatile tool that you will think of hundreds of uses for. How many tools are good for both fine cabinetry and tractor repairs? They should sell these in packages of two, because you'll be wanting a second one pretty soon.

Dewalt impact driver drill
This product that i bought was great for what i was doing. I started to build a deck with this tool and it made the overall time of building it much quicker. The battery in this product lasts me for a long time and only charges within a hour. This drill is small so it fits in tight places and has a light for darker places. I am very pleased with buy and it was the cheapest price around but was like any other. This product is very easy to use and it is easy to change from right to left with just a lift of a finger. The only thing that was bad about is that it weighed more than other drills, but it got the job done.

Handy tool on the jobsite
Got this tool in a combo set and couldn't figure out what I would ever do with it. I am a HVAC tech and found out quick that this puppy is a ton better than the heavier bigger drill drivers. Has the torque to break loose stubborn screws and not twist off the heads. I love it and you will too..Small compact and light with a light which is handy! Pick you one up today.

Great tool
Bought this impact driver to use while installing flat screen TVs. I mount them on the wall and need to secure the brackets to the wall studs and this makes it very easy to screw the lag bolts into the studs rather than using a ratchet (which takes forever) or a regular cordless drill (which can snap the head off the screw). Works great.

performance
This last model dewalt came out with does not have a variable speed trigger, and does not work well at all for driving screws, which is what is designed to do. I have liked and used Dewalt a lot and I really liked this driver before their last changes, but I have to say, if they don't change it for the better, I will not be buying another one nor recomending it.

Dewalt Cordless Impact for big jobs
This DeWalt Cordless Impact was purchased by us when we were putting a tin roof on a large building. The other tool we were using would only go for about 5 minutes and the battery would die. The DeWalt went longer and installed the screws with less effort. It really made the job easier. This product is stronger and outlasts a number of other brands!

Best tool i own
I just bought this tool for a project that I was doing over spring break last week, and I would have never even come close to finishing without it. It drives screws into wood, siding, sheetrock, without stripping the screw. I love it and I am going to buy my Dad one for his birthday next week.

Your'e not supposed to pick favorites....but....
This is by far my favorite tool. I suppose the reason for the emotion attachment is the years of emotional distress since I started tinkering in the workshop in single digits. By the time you got out the screwdriver, got it started in wood, it would inevitably seize up after 3 or 4 rows of threading. Later in my professional life, you'd drill a pilot hole and use the cordless drill with a long screw only to have it seize up and break off an inch or two into the material.
This dewalt tool has held up for me with no failures for years. The only problem I can describe would be the collet sticking in the open position allowing the bit to fall out. On the other hand, I have never cleaned or oiled any part of my dewalt tools and consider this flaw my own fault.
