I could not be happier with the the way this works
This decoy appears to be doing exactly what I want it to do, keep geese out of my back yard. We live on a several acre pond and there are many geese that frequent our yard to rest in the shade of our large trees. I put this up yesterday and my son thought it was real, my dog thought it was real and best of all the 20+ geese that have been floating in front of my house think it's real. It was great to see a pair of adults and thier 11 goslings heading for the yard and then turn tail and float off when the saw Max (that's what I call the decoy).
What I did not like about this is that there were no directions included to explain how to set the decoy up. I was able to find the manufacture's directions on how to set the decoy up after a web search. They should have been in the bag. Also for the amount paid, I would have expected this to be a bit more substantial. I don't expect this to last very long but, if it keeps the geese away I can live with that.
I plan to buy more of them and if you are thinking about buying one I would encourage you to do it.

Pack of coyotes
I recently ordered two more coyote decoys for my dad's waterfront property, bringing his "pack" up to four. He has a problem with geese grazing in his back yard. To say that these decoys are convincing would be an understatement. Fisherman on the lake do a double take when passing by. The nieghbor was fooled and his dog growled when he first saw the coyotes. Best of all, my dad can walk in his backyard confidently knowing that he'll not have to dodge goose droppings with every step.

Much Needed Deterrent
After 3 years of running after the woodchuck with a pan, only to have him return, this decoy did the trick. I even saw a squirrel stop in his tracks a retreat.

Charming addition to the flora and fauna.
Tucked in among native plants on a distant backyard embankment, Wile E Coyote appears on the prowl.
Purchased and planted strictly for human consumption (er, appreciation) he brings a bright smile to visitors (after the initial startle effect).
He hasn't deterred the birds from enjoying the smaller game (worms) in my garden-- he just adds great ambiance to a Colorado high plains landscape.

Fake Coyote's Work!
We had a serious goose problem on our airport and as you've seen on the news a year or so ago, airplanes and geese don't mix well. We ordered 2 of these and tested them by a drainage pond where the geese like to hang out. Instantly, the geese were gone to other areas. After a week with no geese, we got a dozen more and placed them all around the airport. They look real, are easy to set up, and rugged. What a bargain! They work!

Chief Eng.
I purchased this item to control geese at our Data Center we are in an area that they are protected; the geese would attack the workers at the site when they were with the chicks. We installed the coyote at the entrance of the building and they have not returned they are in the area but not bothering the workers. I recommend trying this if you have a similar problem
