Great flashlight, though a little big,

"This flashlight has become my favorite "grab it and go" unit. It has plenty of bright, steady, light, and the LED bulb makes it nearly indestructible, though I've certainly tested it's drop-resistance.

It uses regular "C" cell batteries, so they're cheap and easy to find, and the LED means they run for a heck of a long time.

It is a little bulky, but I'll put up with that for the capability it offers. If they made a "AA" or "123" battery version of it, I'd buy one in a minute. For the time being, though, this one will do nicely.

Frankly, I didn't expect much for this price, but it really is an excellent "Wel-Bilt" unit."

"This light is great! The 3-watt LED is super bright, the body of the light is of good size and weight (it feels good), and it could be used in an emergency as a defense tool because of its design. But the best part, for me, is the fact that it uses regular "C" cell batteries - not some of the really expensive ones used by other lights of this size. I will be buying another of these on my next trip to the Northern Equipment retail store in Houston."
