Pro Fusion Heat Industrial Fan-Forced Heater - 4000 Watts, 13,900 BTU, Model# PH934
Good heater and easy on the wallet!,
June 2, 2010
"I bought this heater for a camper that I use occasionally because the 110v units and the LP gas was getting to be too much of a hassle.
This is a good heater (although loud) that is a much better unit than any 110v heaters that I have tried.
It may even be too much heat for a small space like I have but it has a thermostat and you can turn it down low.
I'd recommend it."

Pro Fusion Heater,

"I bought one of these from Northern a few years ago. I was looking for something more than a small 120V heater could provide as I wanted to knock the chill off of a 2 bay area with 12' ceilings. This heater has served my purpose well and heats the area in a reasonable time. It is fairly quiet for an industrial style heater and is really rugged with its steel case, unlike some of the plastic units out ther that can easily crack when cold. I have been satisfied with it and yes, I would buy another one."

Puts out about as much heat as a bic lighter...,

"maybe even less.
I don't know, maybe I received a faulty unit, but...
I plugged the unit in, and it started running right away. My hope for any warmth was quickly dashed though. This unit's output is barely any warmer than ambient temperature.
The fan is fairly strong, so I thought a windchill effect may be making the output seem cooler than it really is. I left the thing running for 4 hours in a fairly-well insulated 12x20 shop. Upon returning, I could detect no significant difference in temperature.
Judging by the arc created when unplugging the machine (no power switch), it is certainly sucking the juice. So where is all of that power going? Certainly not into creating heat.
Chalk it up to lack of QC, or terrible engineering; either way, my heater is worthless."

Good for a small garage with minimal ventilation,
November 2, 2009
"This little heater works well in my attached 1 bay, extra deep garage. It's actually capable of getting the garage warmer than my house.
Pluses:
Small and compact, so easy to store during the off-season
effective for its size, within reason (it was not able to dent the chill in our larger, 3 car, detached garage that is not very well insulated).
Minuses:
Requires a 240V 20A receptacle; I have a surface mounted sub-panel in my garage, so I installed a 2 pole breaker and nippled a receptacle off the bottom of the panel.
The fan is a little noisy, but that is to be expected."
