Overview

The NorthStar® ATV spot sprayer features an on-demand NorthStar diaphragm pump that is pressure-activated — pulling trigger turns on pump powered by an alternator from the engine. NorthStar's proprietary tank design features extra-thick walls won't bulge or sag. It stands up to chemicals because thanks to a special polymer known for its superior chemical resistance. Tank is UV-stabilized to prevent fading and other sun damage. Mounts to any ATV with electric start or 12 Volt mounted battery. Not advisable to pump diesel or crop oil through this unit.

"bought unit to spray for weeds- put it in my trailer and hooked up a spare lawn mower battery and went to town-this thing sprays almost 20 feet into the woods and I filled and emptied it three times with no problems and the battery was still fully charged. I have the trailer hooked up to my lawn mower and drive around and spot spray where I need to. good consistent spray and no loss of pressure.

only thing I can say is I should have purchased the larger tank as it does such a goos job I am using it a lot more than I thought I would"

"This is a perfect size sprayer to mount on the front of a zero turn mower.
I have had the 26 gallon also, it works great but to large.
Everything works great except the spray wand on mine was
not very good so I replaced it with a better one. But for the money
I couldn't be more pleased."

"I love this sprayer, from the time it arrived and the assembly was minimal!
We have used it several times the past two weeks.
It is easy to use, a nice"low Profile" size that allows you to see over the back of your ATV.(Or even a Golf Cart)
Love that it hooks up to the battery and has the on and off switch so handy to use.
Easy to clean,several choices of mounting for your sprayer, off set sides realy are a plus.
That it is afforadable is a plus, well worth the money.
Ladies,it is light weight and so easy you could put your kids to work with it."

"I have recently purchased the 10 gallon sprayer. It is the perfect size to spray my small lawn and to spray around the house for spiders. The only drawback I find is that the motor may be slightly underpowered. If not for that I would rate the product as excellent."

"This sprayer that I just purchased was great, I did however, have a problem with one of the clamps, I called on a Moday morning and they shipped one out to me immediately and never had another problem with the sprayer as of yet. But it was so much easier to purchase one that I could put in the back of my truck and stand on the tail gate and just spray everything and get it over with quickly. Thank you Northern Tool"

"I have used this sprayer for the last month or so and have had very good results. This is the first atv sprayer that I have owned so nothing to compare it to but for the most part I like it very much, a lot better than the old back pack that was getting heavy for a 66 yr old. Used mainly for 8 acre property and for food plots. I did buy some more tips that are interchangeable from 80degree to flood tip. I rigged the wand to the back of the atv with some ties and lock the trigger open and use the switch to control the on and off and this serves me well as a broadcast sprayer. The only problem I had was with the first use some of the connections had to be tightened to stop leaks, but since then no more leaks."

Yes, the replacement pump for this sprayer is item # 2681040. See link below for more details. For pump parts please contact our parts department @ 1-800-222-5381 and select the parts option.

Also, before ordering parts or a new pump, be sure to check all of the lines, the nozzle and the spray gun valve for any clogs or obstructions as obstructions in the line will cause the pump to not function.

The pump on this NorthStar sprayer prevents you from using the single nozzle broadcast lance on this unit.

We do carry a broadcast kit for this unit that attaches to your ATV hitch with a small bracket, it is a boomless spray nozzle, please see my product recommendations listed below...
