Excel Roller Cabinet - 26in., Model# TB2902
Good Idea, Poor Execution
I have been looking for a this combination of drawers and shelves for a while, this unit is good as far as the the sheet metal is concerned. The problem that I encountered is with the casters and the rubber mat for the top. The 2 swivel casters did not rotate right out of the box, they seem to be very cheap and poorly made. The rubber mat to protect the top is made out of a material that has an burned odor that will not go away. I have let it air out for a week and washed it but the odor still permeates the entire work area.

Compact & Well Built
We needed a compact rolling storage cabinet that could fit in a small space & also serve as a work station. This one fit the bill nicely.

Well-made, and has versatile storage options.
...Kind of glad that I decided to purchase this rolling tool cabinet. It really fits my personal storage needs - about 90% - which, to me, is good enough. I've looked at other storage options, but kept comming back to this unit. It was very well packaged from the factory. The casters seem to be strong enough for the load they're intended to support. I was looking at some Craftsman rolling tool carts, but for the price range, what they offered didn't seem like any of them would hold up over the long-haul. Now, Excel doesn't recommend you overloading this tool cabinet. As long as you evenly distribute the (overall) weight inside, you should be able to enjoy long-term use from this cabinet. The powder coat finish is above average. The ball-bearing drawers are "full-extension", so you can see what you have deep into the rear portion of each drawer. My cabinet arrived with four (4) keys! And, all four keys will operate both the drawer and cabinet locks, respectively. The top mat for the cabinet is of decent weight/ density. However, the included drawer liners are cheap. No problem for me, as I have some 'custom' foam that I'll be placing on top of the Excel liners. Finding "pegs" for the pegboard will take some time, however, as I am "still" scouring the internet, trying to find pegs that'll fit this unit. But, overall? Yes, I would definitely recommend this rolling tool cabinet to anyone even thinking about purchasing it. The quality is there, and it really looks nice, as well! The pull-out tray (in the cabinet portion) of this cart works off of ball-bearing slides (like the drawers), and should really provide useful storage options for most! With this cabinet and my Excel 3-drawer portable toolbox on top? My (jealous) neighbor across the street had the nerve to pull out his beat-up old toolbox - and, put it on display. Like, I was really supposed to be impressed!........
