If i produce biodiesel from waste vegetable oil from restaurants, do i need to keep biodiesel warm in winter?

Answers

Biodiesel has different gel points depending on the feedstock used to produce it. That is soy bio has a different gel point than canola, or jatropha, or rapeseed. Having said that, gel points generally range from about 20 degrees F to as high as 45 degrees F. With that in mind, it is important to maintain fuel storage at temperatures over 50 degrees F and/or cut the 100% Biodiesel with some amount of Petroleum Diesel which will lower the gel point for the combined fuel.

Answers

Each batch requires about 3 hours of hands on time and 48 hours to produce 40 gallons, that should average out to about 14 batches per month. Hands on time will decrease as you get more familiar with the process. Made in U.S.A.

Answers

The NWR Processor does not have a 220 volt option. The manufacturer has not had any experience with crude palm oil. If it is same consistency as vegetable oil, it will work.

Can you test the system with CPO (Crude palm oil) and provide us the resolve? Can you convert the system to 220Volt?

Answers

The unit would not be able to be converted to 220 volt. Northern would not be able to test the system with CPO.
