"The Lincoln Invertec welder is a excellent machine to have. I weld for a living and have used the best equipment out there so for such a cheap price why not? For those who do not know it also can be converted to a tig welder with the purchase of a separate tig torch and tank of argon. I've stick welded with this machine and it welds beautiful. Whether its out of position, vertical up, vertical down, horizontal or overhead it can do the job. Tig is even better because you can lay beads that look like stack of dimes. The only down side I would say is that you cannot hook up a foot pedal for precise tig welding. And another downside is that there is no ac welding or high frequency for welding aluminum. Whether you are fabricating headers for your project car or stick welding a trailer. This welder is portable and light weight and can do it all."

"Love it, just love it. portable enough to go anywhere but and stout and reliable enough to get the job done. I had to older model and then purchased this one when a friend wanted my older one. I use it on the farm and keep it in my truck!!!"
