Cleans very well
I have used this only a few times but it cleans rather well... I have had no issues with the pump yet, and i bought an extended warranty...
But i used the washer solvent recommended by the Northern tool rep. So works great.

Good for home auto hobby work
I purchased this washer anticipating that it would be OK for use at home on an intermittent basis for cleaning parts during my restoration project. That is exactly what I got. The assembly instructions were adequate and it was pretty easy to assemble in about 30 minutes. I have been using it now for about 2-3 months and so far it works well. I do not know yet how long the cleaner I purchased will last. I like the fact that it is portable and will roll around my shop. When I am not using it I close the top and place a quarter sheet of plywood on it to use as a work surface.

Things that aren't so great about it.
You have to be careful of the kind of cleaning product you use in the washer. It must not be to strong or it will ruin the pump rather quickly. I would let a Northern representative recommend one of their products in the store. Overall the unit works well at cleaning parts with a lite build up of crud. It takes a little more work for old, heavy grease.

product is quiet, and efficient. size could be bigger, but I haven't had a problem with it otherwise.

portable parts washer
I use a product like this at work, it is a small engine repair shop and when the guys need parts cleaned, I put them in the tub and awashing we will go. The drying rack underneath makes it convenient when you have a few parts to clean at one time. I like the portable one so much because you can push it anywhere you need it or out of the way is always good. It is easy to clean up or you can just close the lid until the next day. I like this so much I am buying one for my husband for his birthday so he can (I can) clean parts on his many motor projects. I like the way it is easy to manuver and the size is just right for a small shop.

Great Parts Washer
I have used this parts washer with many different applications from Automotive parts, Farm equipment, Cleaning heavy grease and oil. The layout of the tank is great and I use the drying rack all the time and keeps parts clean while drying. This drying tray also saves fluid by recapturing it in a drip dray below. The unit, motor, and switches all seem to be very well made and even comes with a convienient power cord hanger to the side while transporting or moving around. Overall one of the better parts washers I have used.

parts washer
Easy to use, overall good quality for small shop, relatively thin legs be carefull if you try to move it full. I ended up building a rolling platform and it works just fine.

Parts Washer
The shop has been needing this item for some time, so when I first used it I checked out all aspects! Ease of use was my first observation. We chose to use a "green" product for cleaning and the washing mechanism
works well. It has a good fitting cover to keep out other shop dirt/debris and helps reduce the solvent odor. I would recommend this item.

parts washer
This is one of those items you don't think you will use much, until you use it once, them ideas come to you. I started using it for washing out all my reusable air filters,4 cars, then my work tractors,3 of them and of course home lawn mowers, ride and push, them filters on atv's and dirt bikes 3 in all. Then all my work hand tools i work on all my stuff i carry around in a canvas feed bag i just dump them all in cleaner and turn it on,besides washing grease off hands and parts need cleaning up and o yes the grease gun,you get the idea. I has a bottom shelf you put every thing on to dry and put away later and top closes and leave as a shelf to pile things on to wash later, and wheels, need i say more.

Parts Washer
I restroe Farmall Tractors many of which are over 60 years old. one of the most inportant items ifound that i needed to accomplish this task was a [parts washer. I purchased this washer at the local store, I found it simple to assemble. Once assembled the ability to clean parts of thes tractirs with years of greese became almost effortless. I would soke the parts in thge washer over night and the next day along with a btrush I was able to bring these [parts back to life. The ability to save orginal parts rather than use replacement parts is problity the most rewarding part of restoring these tractors. I gives me thde ability to show them and state that they are restored rather then rebuilt.I wouldn't be able to enjoy this hobby without this washer. I am a retired army vet with wartime disabilities and this hobby is one of the great preasures of my time. This parts washer makes this hobby so much more enjoyable and anyone considering restroation projects would find this item priceless.
