  1. does roller have bearings on axel & grease fittings?

    1. No bearing or grease fitting. I do grease mine prior to using and never had a problem.

    3. The Ohio Steel Lawn Roller has flanged bearings on both spindle ends that are grease packed but do not have grease fittings or zerks.

  2. What is the recommended size of lawn tractor to use for this roller

    I am looking at restoring our lawn to better condition has some slopes and hills. We don't want to get to large of a roller and not be able to use it. Our current lawn tractor is a Huskvarna 22Hp.

    1. Maybe, When full, it strains my Craftsman26 hp 50" cut mower on any kind if hill, I let most of the air out of the rear tires and that allowed much better traction turning and up hill. Figure water weighs around 8-9 lbs per gallon. Try it half full and see. I think this wide roller at half weight is better that a small one full. I pulled it over my yard after plugging and re-seeding. I have little over 1 acre hilly ground.

    2. Your lawn tractor certainly has enough power to pull this. Read my review about the hitch though, before you purchase. The frame and the roller itself seems of sufficient quality to do the function it was intended for.

    3. There is no recommended HP for pulling this lawn roller. You will need to check your manual to make sure your lawn tractor can pull 920 pounds.

  4. What size is the drain plug ?

    1. The hole where the drain plug fits is 1". The rubber plug will be just smaller and expands to seal the drain when the bolt is tightened.
