The arms on this zero-turn mower lift have hook brackets that lock onto the mower deck. They will lift up the mower when the lever is lifted.

This is for use with any zero turn mower. All of the mounting brackets and hardware are included. If wanting to use with yard, garden, front engine tractors you must purchase item 174887- conversion kit.

Ohio Steel Zero-Turn Mower Lift, Model# TL4500 4.3 5 15 15

Zero-turn mower lift I purchased this product and was somewhat skeptical about how well it would work. Assembly was easy and it worked as advertised. You do want to have a good grip on the handle when you let the mower down. Also, the instructions advise to put air in the tires and I would highly recommened checking the tires before using the first time. You want to adjust it so it's as close to the mower deck as you can get it, it works a lot easier if you do so. I used it on a mower with a 52" deck and it worked really well. One thing I noticed is you need to have your blades turned so you don't catch the lift on the blades. Overall I was very satisfied with the lift. May 22, 2012

Ohio Steel Zero Turn Mower Lift Model # TL4500 This a great idea and a magnificent tool. It like other tools, have its pros, and cons. I think that this one is the ideal lift tool for the home handyman. It is convenient to store and easily accessible when needed. Sure it does not have the guards to protect the deck, but its sole purpose is to lift t he mower unit to gain assess to serviceable parts. It also allows for repairs that would normally take a floor jack and another person. The only thing that I really can inject is, the fact that you need to use wheel chocks to keep the mower from rolling away. If you have ever performed the task of blade, wheels, or other needed replacement parts, this is cool. Look around, you will find others that have too many pieces and are not this easy to store . A great zero-turn mower lift I've previously been struggling to get under my Husky 54"" zero-turn mower to clean out the cake'd-on grass that sticks to the deck just above the blades. Now with the lift I got from Northern Tool it's an easy - and FAST - job to get everything really clean. Changing blades is a snap and operating the lift is simple and easy. I would recomment this lift to all zero-turn owners. January 9, 2012

think twice Although the price was right and the quality of the lift is good I am dissapointed in the effort it takes to do the job. I'm over two hundred pounds and have a very difficult time lifting my ariens max zoom machine. It will lift the machine but you better have some "beef" to pull the handle down. I also don't like that the hooks are not coated to protect the deck. I will look at another way to service my machine and sell this locally. July 19, 2011

Finally Once assembled, and with tires properly inflated, the hand brake on the mower disengaged, and old socks over the lift claws to protect them and the mower deck from scratches, I gave it a try. Finally a product that enables me to get underneath the deck without laying flat on the ground, and to get sufficient leverage on the bolts to remove the blades for sharpening. Another plus, the fold-away feature will save space in my shed until I need to use it again. June 13, 2011

Two men and a boy While the idea seems like a good one, it does not work for me. If I were 210 pounds, 21 years old and worked out every day it might work fine. But I'm none of those things and try as I may, I could not lift the front end of my zero turn mower with this device. I weigh 160 pounds and am 5'9" tall but could not get the leverage to lift the mower. If someone wants to take it off my hands I'll give you a heck of a deal. I would have sent it back but it's too much of a hassle to take apart and rebox it. June 6, 2011

Great Lift for Zero Turn Mower I purchased this lift about a month ago, and it is excellent. I have a heavy mower and it works great, since you are not lifting the entire weight of the mower. It is quick to lift to clean and remove blades for sharpening. I would reccommend this lift above all others for ease of use and the price. May 11, 2011

Handy lift Purchased this lift for my husband who has problems with lifting. He really likes it. Much easier to clean under the deck when done mowing. The wheels make it handy to move around. My uncle has a zero-turn mower also and I look forward to having him see this lift when he returns to the north country next month. May have another sale coming! March 16, 2011
