Product Details

Pump requires 5 HP engine with 2 7/16in.L, 3/4in. straight keyed shaft, 5/16in.-24 tapped hole and 3 5/8in. bolt circle. Uses long-lasting, high-end silicon carbide seals that are specially suited for heavy-duty, continuous-use applications such as pumping contaminated and abrasive fluids.

Details:

It is filling in and I want to pump the sand and small pebbles back up to the washed out places behind the sea wall. the head would be about 6 ft.

At what RPM range does this pump operate(min./max.)?

Details:

I am powering this pump with a waterwheel pulley system and need to know what RPM I should shoot for with the gearing.

Answers

While this pump has a maximum of 3750 RPM at no load, there technically is not a minimum RPM. While we always recommend running at 3600 RPM, you can slow it down. The job being performed(how high, how far water is being pumped) will determine how slow the engine can run. It will be very likely that any significant job will require at least 3000 RPM.

waste veggie oil collection pump Remember to prime this pump before you fire it up. Take the cap off the top and fill it full of whatever you are planning to pump. With a 25' hose it takes about a minute to prime. After that, this pump really moves some liquid. I have this pump in a 2" and a 3". I am very happy with both. August 26, 2012
