"I have the old ramps made of metal, they are long and get in the way of the mower deck when I try to remove it. When I used these ramps they tipped up out of the way and the deck dropped straight down; I was able to slide the deck out and back in without fighting with the ramp.

"I read the reviews before I took a chance and bought these ramps. Imagine my disappointment when they started 'scooting' around my garage leaving horrible black streaks. So, on to the driveway. By going EXTREMELY slow [and sometimes stepping off the tractor to brace them with a foot until the forward motion of the front wheels is converted to vertical--NOT recommended, of course] THEN they worked!"

"I tried using these ramps with a 46" Craftsman riding mower, but was not able to get the mower up onto them. They kept sliding forward. I tried mounting them on concrete, on a wooden deck and several places in the yard on grass. Nothing worked. The idea is good, but they just do not work."

"Great product! Came in handy this past week during my maintenace of the mower while waiting for the groundhog to forecast when the grass would be growing again. Worked exactly as described, compact, and easy to store. much better than traditional ramps which got in the way of the deck."

"This unit may work good for a small lawn tractor, but for the larger garden tractor it doesn't work. Tried it on a 23hp Simplicity Prestege, chased the ramp around the garage, never got on the ramp. Then tried in the yard results were the same. So if you own a garden tractor do not waste your money on it , (go buy a jack insted you will be happier in the end.)"

Working fine for my mower,

"These ramps worked well for my mower, MTD 17.5HP. I use them on a concrete driveway but didn't have any trouble with them slipping out. Approach slowly until the tractor weight rests on the lip, low gear, drove right up no problem. Makes deck cleaning and changing blades much simpler."
