Milwaukee 1/2" VSR Drill
I used this model drill for more then 4 years in heavy industrial electrical construction and there was one in every service truck. Even as brutal an environment as field service, maintenance, and installation can be; no technicians ever "broke" one. So when I had to replace all the surface boards on my 30 year old deck , and having to screw them down; a price point special battery powered VSR was NOT going to cut it. So I bought the old rugged standby, and it is worth every penny. Plus I don't have to worry about the frustration of a battery quitting. Drill has plenty of torque to drive a 2-1/2" deck screw, at about 1/4 trigger movement. Even after a hard day of work, motor might be slightly warm. First Milwaukee tool I've bought for personal use, and probably not last. Outstanding tool!

Drill has been used on many job sites, borrowed by others and they have not destroyed it!

Power and speed is here.
This tool has worked for many very hard hours building decks and a few fences.

I have had this drill for years. Still as powerful as when I opened the box. Certain things in the toolbox, should be a Milwalkee, this is definitely one of them!

This drill is probably one of the most used tools in my collection. Even after being dropped from 12 feet up, it has kept going with no problems. I have used it extensively for everything from hanging drywall to drilling holes for bolting a timber fence together to drilling pilot holes on very small projects. It handles very well.

Milwaukee hvy dty drill
I have used this product for years and like the feel and design of it. It is extremely powerful and I recommend using the screw in side handle to prevent the drill from catching and twisting your wrist. Very durable product which should last for many years.

This drill I purchased 3 years ago. It is light weight, comfortable in the hand making it easy to control and is powerful enough to drive lag bolts with an adapter socket on the end with repeated loads. The cord is flexible and easy to coil up it does not kink, and when it is time to use, the cord unwinds straight not stiff like some wires. It's variable speed and easy to reach reversible switch make a prized tool in my tool collection. Priced just right!

A surprisingly powerful drill
I replaced an older Skil D-handled 1/2" drill with this and my only concern was whether or not the power rating was believable. I tend to be fairly hard on my 1/2" drills. Well surprise, this thing has quite a bit more torque than the old Skil. You have to be really careful when the point of the bit is exiting metal or you could break your wrist. This thing is really tough! Use that second grip when doing hard jobs. It wasn't put in the box as a "nice to have." You will actually need it for metal work.

this drill works very well. it has lots of power and is easy to use. the only problem we had with it is that we store it in the box it came in and the metal end rusted up from the summer heat.
