Milwaukee M18 Cordless Reciprocating Saw Model 262
An excellent saw for day in, day out use. I've used this tool in my job as an Electrician. I would highly recommend it for durability, reliability, and Milwaukee's reputation.

True Milwaukee quality. The saw works great and the lithium battery runs forever.

This is a great saw. I have not used my corded saw since getting this one, having two spare batteries lets me work non-stop. Light weight and powerful, could not ask for more.

Milwaukee Reciprocating Saw
I purchased this saw for a specific job but I have since found other jobs that it is good for. Inserting the blades and do not come loose is very simple and they stay in place until the job is completed not like my previous brand of saw. I have used this saw to cut various types of wood products including tree limbs and small stumps. I use it to cut various types and sizes of metal both flat steel and tubular steel and also various sizes of Plastic PVC pipe. have used this saw for building my shop and utility building in my backyard. Cutting holes for windows and opening in the ceiling for attic drop down storage stairs. All of the cuts whether in wood or plastic PVC Pipe or any type of metal whether flat steel or tubular steel were all clean and smooth making it easier and faster to finish my projects. Several of my friends and relatives have borrowed this saw and have since purchased one for themselves. After getting used too using the saw it became easier to control the vibration which at times was a little rough. The saw is well balanced and not too heavy to use for a long time. As for the pros and cons the instructions are very easy to understand and make it a saw I am proud to own. The cons are that if you purchase the saw it only comes with one blade and I feel that it should come with at least one of each type of blade it uses whether for all purpose or wood or metal. This an excellent saw for the cost. I would and have recommended this saw to strangers in my local hardware and home improvement stores. I feel that its rating should be at least a 10 or higher. Most of my tools are Milwaukee brand. Another con is that it is not all made in the USA.

I do carpentry work and I honestly use this saw on almost a daily basis. I've used it for everything from sheetrock to nail pops. Comes in pretty handy, battery lasts a good amount of time as well.

Invaluable in the Garden
I purchased this saw along with some 9 in demolition grade blades with a view to cutting tree roots below grade to assist in stump removal. Dirt around the work area doesn't do the blades much good but the whole point is they are disposable and relatively low cost.
Used that way run-rime isn't all it might be but there is tremendous friction with wet wood, gritty soil and often a less than 100% straight or fully supported blade. Works really well; good for trimming branches too particularly in situations where safety issues preclude the use of a chainsaw.
Used more conventionally this is just a great saw and with Li-Ion battery technology there is no annoying memory effect that NiCd chemistry always has.
