Rapid Air garage installation,
September 1, 2010
By Luckydoo from Lancaster, MA
"I purchased this system after having done a complete refurb of my garage and wanted to plumb the whole workshop with compressed air. This Kit is the answer to an easy set-up and a leak free installation.
I added an attached shed to the back of the garage/shop to house my compressor and keep the noise out of the work area and wanted an easy yet safe system for compressed air no matter where I turned. I have purchased additional manifolds and now have 5 on the walls and one on the ceiling for an air hose retractable reel that has worked out great.
Very quality product and easy to set-up. Highly recommend to home shop or even professional shop."

Rapid Air Central Compressed Air Line House System,
August 23, 2010
"Finding the Rapid Air System on the Northern Tool web site isn't easy. It doesn't list in air compressors or air tool categories. I installed the Rapid Air compressed air line system throughout my entire house including outside: 1 on the deck (for cleaning between deck boards), 1 near charcoal grill location (to accelerate charcoal fire prep and ash clean out), 1 at driveway to inflate tires and work on cars),1 in kitchen (upper floor - to periodically blow out refrigerator condensor coils and for use on upper floor wherever needed), 1 in laundry room (lower floor to maintain well pressure tank, blow out dryer lint, and for use on lower floor wherever needed), 1 in garage ceiling. Yeah, the coil of tubing memorized the bends, but it installed okay. All the fittings were leak-free when properly inserted. Use pipe thread paste as stated in the instructions on the manifold and outlets instead of teflon tape, otherwise thread sealing will be very, very difficult. Obviously I needed more hardware than provided in the Master Kit to cover my 6 outlets, which meant a bigger sale for Rapid AIr Inc. But, I accidently damaged one of the black plastic union elbows. So, I called Rapid AIr Inc. to see if they would send me a N/C replacement (I could have said it was defective, but I didn't). No deal - I must buy it. I needed to buy extra outlets, hose and Tees. They wouldn't give me a break on the prices or on shipping either. Not even a penny. Unlike other companies who will usually give you a break, especially if you are making a large purchase, Rapid Air would not give me any break. Rapid Air will very likely benefit from my favorable product review, but they didn't impress me when I had to deal with them directly."

"This air piping system is ideal for the small shop. Low cost and so simple to install that anyone can do it. The fittings are airtight and the outlets offer enough options to work in just about any application. The tubing could be a little more flexible, but it definitely beats threading and screwing pipe together."

Good price, relatively easy install,
June 27, 2010
"The price was good, installation went very smoothly. As everyone else already mentioned the tubing wants to remember it's rolled up shape. I expected this and it wasn't an issue, just a nuissance. I used simple electrical staples that I hammered in to loosely hold the line in position. Some of the threads had sealant tape on them, most didn't but I had a roll handy. I put an "outlet" between each garage door, should be handy."

A great way to plumb your garage for air,
June 1, 2010
By BillInCali from San Marcos, CA
"This is a really handy, easy way to plumb air lines in your garage. I found the system easy to work with, and after a number of months of use, it's holding up well. It can be a little difficult to straighten out the hose for longer runs. That's the only downside so far."

Very Good air supply kit,
February 22, 2010
By JD08 from Tipp City, Oh.
"This kit let me finish the air supply in my shop in the least expensive way that I have found. The kit was easy to work with and the fittings are great. This a lot simpler than trying to use copper pipe. The flexible air piping I had seen in the past is just way too expensive for the avreage guy. The coil of line is a little hard to keep straightened out when you are attaching it to the mounting surface. The fittings are easy to use and can be taken back apart if necessary. They supply a cutter which is very handy at making a square cut, Nice!
All in all if you are trying to plumb a shop for airlines, I would highly reccomend this kit."
