Great idea -Handy and effective
I gave these handy little clips to my husband hoping they would extend the life of his tarps that always seem to have the grommets ripped out of them. I was amazed when he came running in the house asking me where I got them and can I get more. This clip is not only secure but strong. We have used them on every job and piece of equipment that we cover.

Tarp Tie Downs
Simply put: there is no better tarp tie down. I have used these yellow gems for years to secure the 50 x 30 foot tarp that covers my boat each winter. Once stretched over the frame, the tarp stays taut, shedding snow and wind for months.
During a recent hurricaine, we removed all of the boat canvas and covered the control panel with a tarp, held securely in place by the yellow ties. They worked flawlessly.
The one thing we have found is that the ties will sometimes pull free of the little discs when you use them on a particilarly heavy duty tarp. Maybe the manufacturer will consider a slightly larger tie, with a larger disc with a deepter groove for those extra heavy duty tarps. Just a thought.
Overall, a superlative product.

Easy to use
Used these to tie down the tarp covering our pontoon boat. Works great and has held up during some pretty big rain and snow storms this winter.

Tarp Ties
I used these in conjunction with some good tarps to make a enclosure for toys. They work great and have held up to 3 seasons of weather now. A couple of thunderstorms with heavy winds did not effect their performance. They are easy to use and inexpensive. Get yours today.

Holds Tarp Securely
These tie downs keep the tarps covering both my trailers secure and tight. No more flapping or uncovered trailers. They are easy to use and easy to install. I would recomend the tie downs and Northern Tool to anyone and I do.

Tarp Tie-downs
Myself and some friends were transporting 3 ultralight aircraft (trikes) from Houston, TX to Big Spring, Tx for a flying competition, an 8 hour min road trip. After loading the 3 of the trikes it was decided that we should cover them to prevent rock chips, bugs and rain off. We commenced to covering them and 2 of my friends were wrapping ropes all around, trying to snug the tarps up.
Having just bought the tie downs the weekend before, for a project at home, the idea struck me. I only had the 1 bag, but we strategically placed them around and continued tying down. Everyone was betting they wouldn't hold or the 1 lightweight tarp we had would be ripped to shreds.
Well, the driver that made the trip said everything made it in 1 piece with nothing coming loose. There was 1 small tear on the lightweight tarp. After the competition, we did the same for the return trip and all went well and held together. I was vindicated for my persistence that they would work.
I have since used them to tarp my boat where the tarp grommets are limited. I attach a few in the voids, run a rope to the trailer and snug it down.
Well priced and definitely value for the money.
