Sport Utility Dry Box - 15in.L x 7 3/4in.W x 11 1/2in.H, With Tray, Orange
Sturdy, well made box
These boxes are sturdy little buggers. They each come with a removable tray, but I usually set it aside so that I can use the entire volume of the box for larger items.
The handles are recessed so they're stackable, and the boxy shape is super efficient (no unusable rounded inside corners).
The latch works well and is lockable, but instead of a lock I use a small karabiner. It holds the latch in the locked position but doesn't require a key to undo.
The surfaces are flat and smooth which makes them great for labeling with sticky labels or writing on with a Sharpie.
The hinge and handle are pinned with what appears to be aluminum pins. I'm not sure about that, but I've never had one rust on me.
A Lightweight, sturdy, smartly designed box that doesn't waste space for the sake of style.

Nice sized utility box, can be used for lots of purposes. I use it for ammo, which is what it's copied after.
Slightly larger & taller than the real thing (.50 cal) Has a nice insert tray. Has seal to keep out moisture and dust. Great Price. Highly recommend it!

Radio Go Kit
I am a HAM Radio operator. I used the box to build a water resistant box to carry a complete emergency self contained communication system.
I was able to fit a HF/VHF/UHF radio with power supply, antenna tuner, duplexer, meter and radio/computer interface with hookups for external USB, power, antenna and battery.
Everything fits fine and it is water resistant, light weight and easy to carry.

Great Dry Box
I purchased this dry box for our Maintenance Manager had a handy and secure place to store his body harness on the manlift. We work in a corrosive and humid work environment. The dry box has been in use for over a year and is performing well.

Sport Utility Dry Box
I bought 4 of these boxes, 2 of each size and have used them often. Well built box, very stout, easy to grab and carry. The only thing I would change is the foam gasket on the lid. An O-ring would be a real plus there. Also, the break-over-center latches left the lid just a shade loose in the closed position. I took care of that with some short pieces of 1/4" Tygon tubing over the bail to take up the slack. They close nicely now. Overall a great box for the price.

Go-to household security grab-n-go
I have been building natural disaster kits for some years, and have more than a few must-have items on the list. With its bright orange color, roomy insides, waterproofing and quick-grab handle, the Action Products Dry Box (and its smaller brother) form the core of grab-n-go in my family and many others who I've helped prepare for "The Big One."
I tried fitting needed first-aid, food, water purification and self-defense stuff into the metal surplus ammo cans ... and they just weren't quite up to the task.
Take my word for it - you fill this box with the bare essentials, practice with your family on how to get to it quickly, and you'll sleep with greater piece of mind in case of the unforeseen worst.

Large Action Products Sport Utility Dry Box.
I have 2 of these and they are great, I plan to buy more of them. I use them in my machine shop to store machine tooling and attachments. They are inexpensive, strong, dust & moisture proof and stackable. Very well made product at a very reasonable price, a rarity these days. I would highly recommend this product to everyone needing portable, durable storage.

Does the Job & Made in USA
I purchased this a month ago because I was tired of my tools getting wet and rusting. I take this set of tools camping, riding, boating, & traveling. I live in the NW where it rains daily. This box is simple and very functional while remaining sturdy and waterproof. Priced fair and deep enough to hold a fair amount of tools. It's designed to take padlock so it could be locked and left in the back of your truck or on the trailer. Good waterpoof design for tools and ammo.

Sturdy, Compact...Does the Job.
I found these after searching for a couple of years for the perfect container to house the "inspection kits" I made up for our forensic engineers to use in the field. These roomy boxes have a surprisingly small footprint. The handle is nice and large and easy to grip with gloves on. The removable tray is a nice feature. Have not yet had these in a downpour so I can't comment on weather resistance.
