Can the Titan Siphon Feed Spray Gun, Model# 19418 be used to spray latex paint? (I have a bookcase to spray and I want a professional look)

Answers

Yes, you only need 24-45 PSI to paint with this sprayer. Although, if you are doing a lot of painting I would recommend a larger compressor.

If you thin the paint down enough it will work. You will want to use a bigger compressor, the pancake compressor will run out of air to quick. You will need a compressor with 4 to 7 CFMs. See my recommendations below for guns that will great for latex paint.

Yes, Just be sure and stay 12 to 18 inches away. It works best 40 -50 lbs of air pressure. Be sure and adjust your nozzles to your desire consistencies as per the directions.

Answers

The spray gun should work with oil base stains. It is recommended to check with the manufacturer of the stain to be sure the stain will go through a 1.8mm fluid nozzle and needle which this spray gun has.

Titan mod# 19418 Can't Go Wrong I needed a gun that would work with my air compressor [5.8 - 7.2 SCFM]. This gun was easy to use and clean. The price was a concern for me because I wanted a quality product. But I am well pleased with this gun, and will recommend it to any one who needs a paint sprayer. Airl Paint Spraayer I needed a paint sprayer but was not in a position to spend a lot of money. The price on this sprayer was very reasonable. I used it to spray paint the concrete walls in my basement with a latex mold resistant paint. Did not have to thin paint and it worked like a charm. Good Gun to Have I used this gun to lay down some smooth bedliner on the exterior of my rig. It was up to the task. Great gun for a low price! I have never used a spray gun before and was concerned this cheap price would get me in trouble but after thinning out the paint a bit and getting the settings right, this gun was awesome. Finished doing touch-ups and repairs to a 100 foot long fence section in about 1 hour. Well worth the price... Operated at around 60 PSI and preformed very well. November 7, 2008
