"The plastic filter that was on my IR compressor broke off at the threads. I went with nothing for a while - probably sucking in sawdust, dust, chicken feathers, and anything else that floated by. I got this to act as some kind of filter till I can convince myself to spring $75+ for a new filter and housing from IR. It has no actual paper filter in in - more like all metal. Will it filter out fine dust? Probably not. But like I said - it's definitely better than nothing."

"Look everywhere on and off the internet and you wont find anything to compare to this deal. The filter I had on my compressor was a dinky plastic job that busted the first time I loaded on truck! Dealer wanted $60 to replace. That didn't include the $15 for the paper cartridge. Fooled them when I got this from NT; you guys are great. Now, when all my friends and associates see it, they have to get one, too. This is so well constructed, it will probably outlast the compressor. If it does, I will be sure to salvage it for the new compressor. PS-- Did I also mention how well constructed and low priced it is?"
