Tie Down Engineering components make it possible for you to build trailer axles that exactly fit your specifications. By choosing the hub, spindle and axle tube you need and building it yourself, you save money and get a better result. Axle tubes are available in 1500- or 3500-lb. capacities, with corresponding spindles and hubs. Axle tubes are 72in. long and can be cut to the exact length needed for your application. Welding an axle requires the proper equipment and skill needed to apply a proper weld. If you are not comfortable with your welding capabilities, have a qualified welder assemble your axle. U.S.A. I am trying to modify an old pontoon trailer & would like to bolt this axle to existing mounting plate.

We do not have a .pdf file that will show the dimensions of this item. The spindle is made to fit a 2" axle tube and the bolt pattern on the flange is 2 13/16" square.

Answers

The dimensions are as follows:
5 lugs are 2 3/4" apart from each other, measured center on center.
Spindle is 1-9/16" in diameter and bolt hole spacing is 2-13/16" square.
4 1/2" bolt circle, grease fittings are located on outer end of spindle.

I spoke with the manufacturer and this is a standard 1750 hub and bearing set up, they will fit any of our 10 inch, 5 lug brakes kits in either electric or hydraulic.
